Getting into match rooms online - PC

Hi guys, I'm not very good with the technical stuff and i have a problem which is doing my head in. I cannot get into the match rooms online, I can log in and it asks for my password etc but when i try to join a room it give me "error has occurred" or "cannot access due to other user". I have noticed that a few others have ther same problem.
Could someone please explain what to do to solve this? Again I am not goot at techy stuff so please be as simple as you can. Thanks

Same here m8 !!! spend 50 min trying 2 play a ball online....never played a game online yet...error ..error and error......... i think konami makes a big mistake with this game.......play pes2008 offline and for the online thing i get the pes6 and play 2v2 with my m8 and having fun!! shame on konami for this one !!!

Any ideas of playing this game online you had should be swept under the carpet.

Online game solution!

You can try this!

Put your pes 2008 dvd to dvd-rom
Then one menu will appear like this!

At the top of the menu;
Click on "Online user registration" then take a password

Finally at the bottom of the menu;
Click on"Check the whether the latest version installed" and install the new 1.1. patch...

And now you can join the rooms

if you cannot get into match room i find its because someone already beat you to it... go back and search again but move faster to get into rooms.

exactly the same problem here! i even installed the latest patch but nothing. i'm really dissapointed in konami for this one. I'm never going to buy their games again.

There are two solutions to fix this:

1)Take a large hammer or other pummeling instrument, lay DVD on hard surface, and smash repeatedly until feeling stress free. Then go and play PES 6.

2)Go to control panel > network connections, and disable all other network connections listed apart from the one that you are currently using. You should then be able to enter match rooms, although will need to be quick once match room screen shows as if you wait too long it gives you the error again (and only pick those with green ping sign). Once in, enjoy the extremely laggy online play for 5 minutes before turning to step 1 above.

and they say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit eh. konami have really tested this year round...plain unacceptable. that said i'm addicted to the game and I'll suffer the lag every now and again because its a challenge lol

Hi,

If any of you have difficulty on any part of PES 2008, just e-mail Konami telling them what the prob is and they'll send you a link, where you can download a patch which resolves any of these problems, It worked for me!
