Right I'll start with the cons of the game. Delays, not enough cpu pressing, poor refs, no penalties, one rule for cpu another for us and a couple more.
The pros though are great. No longer can you barge through with Ibrahimovic or Drogba. No longer can you run past everyone with Messi and Ronaldo, this years game involves a lot more thinking on our part and a bit more tactical nous.
The reason I say give it a bit more time is because this game is different to the other PES series as there is a bit more adapting to do. The dribbling has totally been reworked. You don't have to keep your hand on R1 to burst past players, I find you have more control mixing between R1 and just using the D-pad. If you can master that in the coming weeks, I have no doubt a lot of people will warm to the game.
The shooting is better. Side foot shots no longer swerve inside like someone has shot with the outside of their boot; something that really got on my tits on the previous PES games.
Master League is a million times better. Integrated CL and real currency makes you feel like you have more control of your team and makes it feel like a 'proper' season.
I'd say we are moving in the right direction (with exception of a few unrealistic features), but Konami will never be able to please everyone. What might be good for me might not be for the next person.
