Hi, has anybody else noticed that you can score virtually half the time from free kicks, by hitting it as close to the line as possible, and watching the defence helplessly falling over the keeper and kicking it in his own net?

^Did they ever score an own goal? If not I guess yo must be lucky.
Note that I really like Pes 2008 but it sometimes makes me mad with it's gameplay.

The computer has never ever scored an own goal, in fact its hard for them to make mistakes when i play, they boot the ball out every time i attack, or their keeper is too good, or they defend well, infact i scored an own goal on myself

I love it when I used to play on pro mode, and when a low dangerous cross came in, the defenders thought they were clearing it, but in actual fact booted it into the net.

You can get any type of own goal from corners, the most common I have come across is when the defender heads it (but heads it wrong) and the keeper is in the wrong place, thus the ball slowly bounces into the net.

Also when you do corners along the ground, the near post defender a lot of the time just bumps the ball into the net, as it's too fast to control lol

am as serious as the look on my face when a white girl said she fancied me, and that was pretty serious. I have played through master league and many matches and the computer has never scored an own goal

And it is strange considering it happens some times in PES5
