Goal kicks +long pass are russian roulettes?

It has called my attention that when its a goalie kick, all the players on the field doing a man to man covering... and they are all scattered and mainly on the pitch of the goal kick.

so if the goolie makes a looong pass, and the opposition has a clean header and passes it to his striker, the striker has a looot of room..?

It has also happend the other way round, and the team that has "goal kicked", manages to get the ball to its own players and its self on the opposite pitch with a 4 vs 4?

is it only me?

It has happened to me also. This year the AI tracks more closely the CBs so I tend to play long balls in goal kicks and I've experienced just that. What I do is to always move my defense up if I play a long ball, otherwise if I loose the aerial challenge my defense is too low down the pitch and it'll create a chance for the AI
