I will have a game play update out soon.

I have been tinkering with formations used by some teams. It plays a massive role in how they play against you and how easy they are to play against.

Also done a lot of work to make the balance between forwards and defenders better, increased the smoothness of the game and slowed down passing slightly.

I am now getting to the point where I am happy with it. Hopefully tomorrows patch will only make things better.

Chimps,

Stupid question from a PES newbie: the update you're working on won't add any more PNGs, right? So I would just be able to copy the new "EDIT DATA" file onto my PS3 along with the 500+ PNGs from your version 1.2? Or would this be an erase-and-copy-again process?

It will just be the edit file.

Goalgerd, when you install the patch it doesnt overwrite the OF and things like formations are kept.

I will post a link to a greatly improved game play file when I upload it

downloaded the patch and the game is a game i can see myself playing til next october now, are you going to do any edits with the other league A ,euro central league and div2 teams?

Oooooohhh baby, can't wait to try this out. Same thing you said above, right? Just pick out the "EDIT DATA" file and dump that onto my existing version 1.2? Thanks again.

That link I put up was the entire file, not just the edit file.

The link to the 1.3 on the first post isnt a full link, do you want to put the edit file up by itself and repost the link?

Hi guys, I also have this problem. I have only just got the game and installed the option file before doing any Konami software updates. When reading the edit file it says 'unable to load because data is from a different version'. I've tried downloading the software update but still doesn't work :-( Please help! Ok I sorted it - I hadn't downloaded the Konami 'Extra Content' pack. Was a bit disappointed to find no chants though - I gathered from the 1st page that these were included! Aside from that it seems great, cheers for the hard work!

il have file ready tomorrow, sorry have been snowed in all week. ive updated all kits now(new chile etc) and fixed players faces

will email chimps edit file and post up new links to full file 1.3

This said, i have a question.
How did you manage "Aggression" and "Response" values?
As yoy know these are KEY values in gameplay editing.
Did you follow a pattern, or they've been established for each player?
