Is it me, or are goalkeepers useless in this game?

I am becoming increasingly pissed off, while playing online, basically, when the other player shoots at my goalkeeper, he more often than not fails to catch it, resulting in them scoring from the rebound.

Has anyone else noticed this?

no .. but my goali in ML sucks cuz he is Ivarov!!!!..... they scored 24 goals on him LOL... he had some good save thoe

I quite like Ivarov, never liked Lothar and Zamenhof mind.

I don't think there's much of a spectrum regarding keepers - the difference between a really top class keeper and a mediocre one on this version is completely unnoticable. I mean, on my Bayern ML, Rensing had a game where he did some superb one on one saves, before allowing a shot straight at him through his legs. Best to buy a cheap keeper and spend your money on a holding midfielder, as far as preventing goals goes.
