You wanna give it a rent m8. Lag was the very reason i got rid of pes2011. Never had any probs with 2012!

I own 2012 and Im playing atm, but I never play online for the reasons I outlined above.

Lol. You haven't played it online since 2010, yet you know it still lags and that 99/100 players cheat or hack. What a bunch of crap. This year's PES is pretty much lag free (especially 1v1) if you have a proper connection. Also, only few players try to cheat, but tell me a game where they don't? Beside, you can form/join communities and play competitions with them only. If someone cheats he can be kicked. Why do I even care discussing this with you..

Yeah I know for a fact the vast majority of players online cheat or hack because I am not an idiot and have been gaming online for over 10 years. Ive owned every iteration of PES bar 2011, and owned one of every ISS game ever made on all systems including the N64 version. We (my mates and I) all completely ignored 2011 after playing the full game at a demonstration event at a local store.

In the litterally hundreds of thousands (if not million+) games I have played of Konami footy the online "community" has always been full of cheats and hackers. Cheats who only use cheese tactics and/or teams and/or known exploits to win and/or lag switches. Or hackers who simply make it impossible to tackle, have players with max stats in every position and also use cheese and exploits.

I couldnt care less if there are communities or not, as I play as I feel like it not to a schedule that someone wants to keep. Its the same reason I dont take part in online leagues, because I have a life to lead and cant make time to play 24/7 like some people. And simply reading some of the comments written online is enough to make you sick of the purile and moronic people who play the game. Racism is rife, sick and depraved comments abound.

And the lag is almost as bad as its always been due to the atrocious networking code that konami writes. The last time I actually played a PES game that was good online was before Konami even had an online network.

Ever year that me and my mates buy a PES game we get one or two games online to test it out and its never been up to standard yet. If you think its great, good for you but dont expect me to just ignore whats infront of me. And ps we all have good connections, everyone of us has 20mb+ connection speeds and pings of under 30ms to one another.

Because online is so bad we just play against one another as a group with a few beers and make a night of it, usually after a big champions league game.

I've not noticed anything on online matches but I'd be interested to hear your experiences of online play to compare against mine.

The same stuff that basically happens in offline vs. the AI. Can't change players/changes to irrelevant players, inexplicably sprinting my CB forward for no reason other than to let the opponent chip the ball straight down the middle for a breakaway, guys running away from the ball consistently, deflection after deflection going to the other team, the opposition getting to everything first everywhere, my cursor won't move/pauses to let the player through, the ball going through players, computer forces me to tackle when I haven't done a thing, back line playing at midfield when I have them dropped back, players stopping to look at the ball as it goes inches over their head, etc. Same old, same old.

Let me finish by saying 99% of my matches are lag free.
