god i hope they update the kit editing thing in PES6!

ive been updating manutd and liverpools new 06/07 kits as they look better than the 05/06 ones i updated but crucial things would help. I'll use liverpool as the example.

# you can't change the colour of the sponor or create the same sponsor logo in 2 different colours and use one logo for the home kit and the other for the away. so liverpool have a red home shirt and logos are in white. fine. but on there yellow away kit or white european away kit for the coming season, you can't see the white logo on the white shirt.

#the strange thing is, i created their their new european away kit- white shirt and on the back, the colour of the players name and number automatically is black (so you can see it)- rather than the colour chosen- white (as you can only select one colour and i chose white as it looks better on their red home kit)

#in manu utd's new home kit, i had to type AIM as the white border around it wasn't big enough.

#however i am pleased they give enough text writing as it allows you to write eg adidas and put it under the created logo when you need it.

Basically all i'm hoping for is to differentiate between the home and away kits. more sock design choices too and shorts (ie stripes only on one side etc)

As an aside question...I played pes5 on ps2 and didnt buy the emulator so made all the transfers and stats and kits by myself so to speak-still am lol, im wondering if xbox users had a short cut to accessing replica kits as im probably getting the game when i get the x360.

I am not sure what you are doing mate but you can change the colour of the sponsors for each shirt, I can not remember which screen it is on at the mo, but you can rotate through the kits, including goalies, buy pressing l2 or r2 on this screen you change the colours for each, I will have a look later and update with the specifics

It is the screen that lists all the text, logos and their colours, from there you can select each kit by using L2 and R2 (there is a pic of the kit on the right) from there enter each item that you want to change to the appropriate colour. I did it last night and have a quite a good replica.

well ill be damned i tried that last night and it worked. i can believe i didnt see it!]

only minor freak i have now is i have liverpools home kit showing white logos on red- fine. the logo im talking about now is their adidas one which i had to draw and used text input for the name below it.

i tried to put that logo onto their shorts and its fine for the white logo on red home kit-fine, but for some reason on one of the gk kits, the adidas logo is white on the black shorts fine but the adidas spelling under it it black! what's stranger is there is no discreponsy in any of the other 3 short logos, but hey im nitpicking.

Don't suppose any of you have an xbox or 360 and like the playstation brought out that thing which means you can save the updated optinon file by buying it in the shops etc(kits mainly what i wanted it for but by the time it came out i decided to make them myself- took 1 month though!)

I'm deffo getting the 360 and as they're saying its like a pc?...and its easy to update kits and save them when playing on a pc, can this be done easily via the live function etc.

It used to take me about a month to edit Pro Evo - i never bothered with the update disc as the kits and badges on there were not as good as the ones i could do, if i'm honest. Now i patch cos its so much easier.

Hopefully, modifications and updates will be available via Xbox live and the hard drive will be essential for this. The 360 should be patchable also, as a mod chip is available.

well im getting the full version of the 360. i tend to edit statistics myself and player appearances but really its the club badge. kits i dont mind doing its just annoying when e.g. liverpools new european away kit has them having a strip of green on the right side of their shorts- the closest i can get is 3 green stripes on either end etc- stuff like that.

using xbox live will be a new language to me but if the right updates are there i dont mind paying

I am not sure why you would want to duplicate work already done, I am using the KM option file which as all the logos already on it, maybe an idea would be to start with one of the option files and modify or even recreate the logos where you can do better.

the annoying this is that the option file should be able to distinguish between kits, appearances, stats and formations but you save one option file it will overwrite all of the mentioned.

The evo web option file for pes5 came out the same day i am sure, which included pretty much everything you mentioned, but you are quite right, you should be able to import kits, transfers etc. indvidually from another option file of the same game and not only previous versions.
