I have just finished my first season on BAL and I am loving this mode even more than I did last year. Its much more of a challenge this year which is great as last year on top player it was still pretty easy. An example of that would be on the last day of the season playin for Inter I needed four goals to win the golden boot and ended up scoring eight! Last year all you needed was to be quick and you could run rings round defenders whereas this year its all about finding space and timing your runs which is great as it makes you think a lot more.

Anyway back to my season. I started of in the dutch league for somethin a bit different. I am a CF and have set my focus to concentrate on Speed and Technique (kicking). In my scout match I scored one and grabed an assist. So the offers came in and I decided on a move to Vitesse. I stayed there for the whole season as I rarely move in the mid-season transfer window unless I get an offer from one of the big clubs. I managed to grab six goals and six man of the match awards. There were one or two assists that I should of had but they were not awarded unfortunately. Vitesse finished 15th in the league and were knocked out of the cup at the first round (before I had broken into the first team). So the Summer transfer window came and the best offers I had came from Sparta Rotterdam (10th) and Osasuna (8th in La Liga). I went for Sparta as I dont like to leave a league until I have won the League, Cup and Golden Boot.

My goals this season to qualify for europe with Sparta and hopefully 10 goals. Maybe even a cheeky cup un thrown in for good measure.

I am cf, and didn't especially well on my scout match so i had to settle for Utrecht in the dutch league as well. I've put my strengtpoints in speed and dribblingtechnique. I love that you get rewarded for actually playing the matches this year by the amount of matchexperience you recieve, which is massive compared to last year. This was the first thing i noticed. The second was that the dutch league is a bad starting point since it only got 18 teams, and therefore
fewer matches --> fewer points.

But anyway, it took me about 7 or 8 matches to break into the first team, and i played 13 matches before the transferbreak, scoring 5 goals and gettin 4 assist, way better than expected. As the transferwindow came i was actually getting ready for leaving holland because of the low number of matches, but then i suddenly got an offer from Ajax. They were number one in the league at that time, and I couldn't resist. A good thing since we ended up winning the league. It again took me a little while to break into the first team, but i played 15 matches scoring 6 goals and making 4 assists.

The next season i stuck with ajax and personally it has been good season. I played 43 matches scoring 18 goals and 4 assists. The team didn't perform as well though ending up in a dissapointing 6th place, and going out of the cup and CL in first round. In the transferwindow i got offers from Arsenal, Liverpool, Fiorentina, and a shitty club i can't remember. But arsenal wasn't going to play european football next season, and both liverpool and fiorentina only played with one cf. I was looking for a more classic 4-4-2 team. Tempting offers though.

This season has been a difficult one. The team is again not performing well, scoring way too few goals and placed around 7th place in the league. My player is pretty good by now, 72 on average and 'reaction' and 'quick-turn' as skillcards, but havent really hit it off. I've played 34 matches only scoring 6 goals and 4 assists which is pretty dissapointing to me since i'm playing cf for ajax. I recently had 12 match scoringcrisis, which ended style though. I netted my first hattrick home agains dynamo in the first ko-round of EL. We were down 1-3, but then i single handed turned i around and got us through. My best match so far in a dissapointing season. Halfway through the season i got offers from PSV and Feonord (how do you spell that?) which were 1st and second in the league, but i was looking for a change in league and they played the exact same formation, so i rejected.

I've lost faith in my teammates, so i'm hoping for some interesting offers in the next window...

I have just started this mode again as a SMF able to play on both sides of the pitch. I chose the Dutch league too, maybe as i never use it or any of the teams in it.

My scout match wasn't the best of auditions, i did get an assist but not much else and the offers were from Ado Den Haag (maybe spelled different), VVV and Willem II. Not knowing much about these teams i chose Willem as they were placed slightly higher than the other two.

I turned off once i signed, after a bit of tweaking to my player to make him a bit more detailed, things like the wrist band, boots and haircut. I will play through a few squad matches tonight on 5 mins to get to my debut opportunity.

And by the way. I have moved to Barcelona now playing striker for them at the age of 20. It's way more fun than ajax, and i actually get scoring oppertunities. 14 matches, 11 goals, 5 assist. Messi is very nice to team up with.

Yes he is it's either me scoring and him getting the assist or him scoring and mes getting the assist
