good 2 player co-op games

Hello,

Between us, my friend and i have 2 ps2's, a ps3 and a wii and i have the chance to get an xbox.

Does anyone know of any good co-op games on any of these platforms. A 3rd person shooter would be good but anything would be nice

The only games I can remember playing Co-op are:

Perfect Dark (N64): This game was amazing single player and co-op.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (PS2): To be honest, not the best of games. Doesn't feel like a Baldur's Gate game but it is a very enjoyable Co-op game.

Halo is a class CO-OP game, one of my favourites with a mate. Star Wars lego isn't great but pretty decent fun for a rental. Warriors is apparently class CO-OP too but I am yet to find out.

I can vouch for The Warriors. Brilliant in SP; out of this world in co-op.

You might also want to try out any of the CONFLICT series of games; desert storm I and II are the best of the bunch, but the newer iteration is also pretty good; leave vietnam; it tastes like rotten gash though.

Yeah; just noticed you aren't limited to the PS2; if you do get an xbox 360 you should try Gears Of War.

3rd person shooter and co-op!
