Lobont is good if you want a top keeper (don't know if that changes spelling, think it could be Labont, Lobant or Labant). He will cost you about 600, or thats what he cost me but for his price he his quality and a good reaction shot stopper..
He's my back-up at the moment to Toldo. I've not reached that stage like you, where the novelty of top stars has worn off, but I probably haven't played as long as you. I can see why it would appeal though.

Lobont is a really nice keeper. Has some good reflexes, and for his price...
But, give it a go with Isaksson (Sweden), and especially Kiraly (Hungary & Herta Berlin) and Carini (Uruguay). Top class!

Another class player i played against was "Benjamin" of Real Betis. He played much better than denilson and joaquin. Really a class player. Dunno too much about him in real life.

well for a gk, i think the belgian goalie is quite good, and frey, parma's keeper, for a CB, try Foxe, the aussie defender is pretty fast and strong, and most important, tall... as a plus, hes a good free kick taker, i often score goals with him, oh yea and his header, pretty neat ;) hmmm... aguinaga ( equador ) is a good OMF, dribbling, passing and free kicks. dyer (newcastle or england) or mehdavikia (iran) on the SMF, simao on the WF ( his speed + dribble + crosses ) good combination for a wing player, and he does score 1 on 1's soemtimes, now for a CF, hmmm... kezman's my first choice ;)

defenders yobo (nigeria) and kristanic (serbia) and striker J Ahn (korea), they were all quite handy, korean J Ahn was amazing with 1 on 1's

Ojigwe, Ramzi and Mondragon rule. Mondragon has excellent stats, Ojigwe is a great right SB/SMF (fast and thinking forward), Ramzi is a decent player and will do the job

How about Geovanni from Benfica. Hes a good OMF
Aso how about Beskanshnykk as a CF form Fenerbache
and Rapaic from Marsaille as a left midfield they are all pretty good

You're totally right Papa Lazarou! Geovanni (played for Barca a couple of years ago) is a great player, with nice stats. He can play OMF/WG.
Beschastnykh, well, class player with great stats. He doesn't do it for me though.
Rapaic, great LMF with good passing and a great left foot, very usefull for crosses and free kicks

wassup fellow fifa haters... im knew to this ...how do u put a display pic under your nick? for example tseno has the ac milan symbol under his nick..? and alsom id like to metioned a few good unknown players, tello from chile has an excellent cross from the left foot, salas is a decent goal scorer, as well as pizarro on the chilean subs bench.. hes a great OMF!

Other players that i have found are good 'unknoewn' are CBT Foxe,LMF etherignton, and a AWESOME striker who really isnt that well known is the dane SAND from hertha berlin....only one word.. CLASS!..he never fails to score...does it all... headers, running, and a beut shot... highest reconmendation...

Hertsch, good side defender he's german but i can't remember the team where he plays. Agathe from Celtic also very good results. Basturk great OMF.

If you want a tough DMF then go for Jorge Acuna of Chile. Very cheap but still a first team regular in my star-studded ML team.
