Good, 'unknown' players?

I seem to remember he was at Marseille from the start. If he wasn't, I put him there from Egypt, but I'm pretty certain he was there initially.

In fact, thinking about it, yes, he definitely was, because I was shocked when I first noticed it, as I had heard nothing about the transfer. Then I checked and found out he had indeed been bought by Marseille. So, to answer your question, yes, he is at Marseille and Egypt. More importantly, he's on the game. :)

That doesn't make him known though. He's known for the fact that his real-life progress has been well publicised. Now, whether Championship Manager had a minimal influence on the publicity of his rise to "glory," as it were, could be argued.

He's still unknown, especially if you consider the name Zidane alongside him.

Tseno, as for the whole idea that Kuranyi is known and Lisztes isn't...

Don't they partner each other up-front for VfB Stuttgart?

I think it can be agreed that most people came to terms, or even came across, Kuranyi for the first time when they played against Manchester United. I suggested him on the basis that they would've also come across Lisztes on this same occasion. Hence, they are both on the same level of being unknown (or indeed known) as each other. Undoubtedly, Kuranyi's a better footballer, but this doesn't automatically make him known.

Lisztes playes for Werder Bremen I think. I wouldn't say Kuranyi is a better footballer. It al depends on their position. Listzes is an OMF/RMF, excellent in passing, ... Kuranyi is a CF, doesn't has the same quality as Listzes, but is an excellent striker. They are just two different kind of players. But both very good players.

Ah, I have that one wrong then.

I was under the impression that VfB Stuttgart's Hungarian striker was Lisztes? Perhaps he was a different Lisztes, or simply I've got the name wrong (most likely ;) ).

In that case, I've never heard of Lisztes from Werder Bremen.

Looked for Mido, and only found him in the Egypt national team.
Was amazed by his stats, and wanted to buy him. Offered him a lot of money ( more than 1000 transfer points, and more than 150 salary points above the normal level), but he refused. Can you believe that. Who does he think he is :D

I think you mean Szabics. Scored against Man United in the Champions League

Some other great 'unknown' players:
- SHATSKICH: CF from Dinamo Kiev
great class, scores with ease, and young (I don't think many people have already heard of him, except from the Champions League 2 years ago)
- NOMVETE: CF/OMF from South Africa
small player, but talented
- VARELA: SB from Spain ( I think)
what a player, a rocket :D

Havent tried them, but Nesmachny seems a great player to. And Babos, GK. Borussia Dortmund bought him in my Master League, and I saw why. Great keeper, excellent one-handed saves, fast-going to the ground, ... Didn't manage to score. Babos, next player I'll by :D

One who I completely forgot: Coridon from Lens.

I bought him in my ML early on, he's absolutely quality. Would always pop up with important goals. He's an attacking midfielder, and I consider him one of my best discoveries. ;)

I always found Coridon a bit too lightweight, although it may reflect my lack of skill. Lucky and Slimcasilla are excellent forwards, both seem to be very good at making late runs to power in a header. Sutto (a fictitious player from PES Utd) is a strong CBT, as is Perrier-Doumbe from Auxerre. Radet from Auxerre is a fine RB, and Kapo from Auxerre is a highly useful and cheap left footed attacking player who can play SMF, OMF, WF or CF

I always found Coridon technically good enough to be able to cancel his lack of upper-body strength. Henri Camara (Slimcasilla) is indeed very good, and Idahor (Lucky) is also pretty decent in the game.

Alexandris is unbelievably good value. I'm paying him less than 600 (lesser lights league) and he is top scorer in Div1 5star, not even had him all season - so good it almost spoils the game.

Yes, that's right. Alexandris a great player, just as some other Greek players, like Afarikay and another one which I can't remember.

i say rebrov he is good i play against him wiv my m8 and com and he usually scores qualitites goals

Yes, Rebrov is class. In my Master League Juventus bought him, so he can't be shit :D . But Rebrov, to me, isn't an unknown player. He's brilliant. Wasn't for nothing the man who played next to Sheva when they played for Dinamo Kiev.
