Ah so you can read? It's just your brain that doesn't work. Goodbye Konami, not goodbye PESGaming.com. Funny how you've heard it all 3.9 million times before yet Seabass hasn't heard it once.

OK, so either you gonna hang around to not discuss PES, or you're gonna discuss a game you no longer play?

logic please?

Come on...with every fan out of the boat more to think by Konami...

IMO Cg1206 is right... we need space to discuss our fustrations with our beloved PES.

I trully believe that not buying the game (if it not improve for 2011) is the only way to improve the game for 2012....

"O se rompe o se raja..." like we say in Chile... "Or improve or its death"..1 of 2...

Maybe I see no point bringing anything to a "I am leaving, just so everybody know" thread. OK, you're not going to play PES2010 anymore because you are displeased with the game... big deal, I don't fucking care.

Since you did not really bring anything new into the discussion either, but just repeated what everyone said before, then WHY THE HELL POST IT AT ALL?

I'm pretty sure it's numerous threads like this already... and you complain about _me_ not bringing anything to the discussion... the nerve!

rofl.

If you don't care then why bother replying? Idiots like you prevent people getting their complaints across because you clog the thread up with pointless replys, nothing to do with the topic at hand. The reason for me posting is because maybe one day, as hopeless as it seems, Konami will actually come on this site and see all these complaints about their piss poor game and do something about it.

And yes there are numerous threads like this, does that not tell you something?

If no-one vented their anger and frustrations at anything then how can you expect things to improve?

like every new pes, you have to change your style of playing...i think in this version you dont have to use the sprint button...dont press the sprint button and you can have a "good" match...what´s your experience?

Very true, I think this years PES has made people adapt their style of play more so than previous titles. Although I wouldn't say that is a problem though as after a period of time you gradually get used to it. It also prevents super-human ronaldo/messi runs from their own half past all your players before scoring, to an extent, although sadly it still happens.

OK, so either you gonna hang around to not discuss PES, or you're gonna discuss a game you no longer play?

logic please?

Yes I'm going to discuss a game I no longer play in the hope that I can give my input to how the game can improve. Tbh Konami need people like me more than you when you think about it. At least I'm giving them something to think about rather than leaving meaningless comments that have no purpose.

On the other hand it's people like you that are ruining the PES series. The game is so obviously flawed and unfinished yet you choose to challenge people who bring up these issues? If you are really happy with the way PES is going then you either have no clue about football or have extremely low standards.

Come on guys, ffs, we all need to vent our anger with this digital heist some way :brickwall:

It's either through a thread here or by sending an anonymous letterbomb to Mr. Seabass

Some excellent points.

Still sticking with PES though despite the frustrations. :(

Dito...

After a couple of months (some where since januari), I finally started to 'understand' PES2010, and that's every year...
Every PES is not about learning what to do, it's about what NOT to do to beat the CPU.

For example, DON'T give the through passes in front of goal like be4, DON'T try to run out a defender like b4, DON'T try to turn away from the AC with ur CB like be4 and DON'T ever use super cancel to run ur opponent off the ball...

It sucks, I know... It's like u play a new game every year and figure it out. But after u get to know the game, it gets 'kind of' fun...

Winning with 8-0 to Man U and get the perfect season in ML. It doesn't make the frustrations disappear but it let's u enjoy it in the slightest way.

So KONAMI, remain all the goods, fix the bads and don't use PES for marketing in a way that ur safe of sellings for the next year...

LOL, these posts keep coming and coming, but all in a different way with different reasons, why do we try :p

I choose to complain about it in almost every thread possible, but without quitting or making silly threats about quitting the game. I try different ways of improving the game by editing different settings, and I've come pretty fucking far with that.
I have also sent two letters to KONAMI, one to the EU dept. and one to the asian one, explaining detailed the flaws of this game, how they can easily experience them first hand by testing their own game and how to improve them.
I only got a standard reply from the EU dept. and nothing from the asian part.

The reason i criticised you was I thought you would be better off following the board rules and put your complaints in an already open discussion about the subject, I don't disagree with your views of the game and I have not said so before.
Most of us don't give a rats ass if you're quitting the game or not, and the reasons for doing so... WE ALREADY KNOW!

Get your facts straight before you make assumptions, you sound like a belitteling old tit.

Hope this clarifies things.

For what its worth I have come to like the master league offline, online is a disaster and for that alone Konami deserve to lose sales next time around. I dont believe it is dull offline, I accept its not exactly rivetting in div 2 in the ML but once you get promoted the game becomes much harder, im struggling with a crap team in div 1 of the Italian league but enjoying it all the same.

Anybody standing up for this game (you know who you cunts are) can eat a fat dick.

It should get better and more updated every year and it doesn't.

One question - IS THIS GAME AS GOOD AS PES6?

The answer to that is - NO.

Well 2010 has online, revamped ML and quality graphics. Gameplay obviously not but 2010 has got alot of things going for it.

Cg1206...

Do you know how hard it is to make these games? And do you know how hard it is for companies to actually earn money from them???

PES 2010 is actually one of the better sports games made for this generation of consoles. That's not an apology for Konami's sake, it's a clear assessment of the current state of gaming. The amount of resources needed to make these games is exponentially higher than it was for the PS2 and original Xbox. On top of that there is far more room for error due to the larger amount of code needed. If you also take into consideration the current economic state of the world, perhaps then you can get an idea of what I am talking about.

It was probably a smart move on Konami's part to emphasize player appearances this year. Just like it was incredibly smart for them to snatch up the UEFA club competition licenses. It has been proven that the main reason people buy sports video games is to play as their favorite stars and teams. That is what is going to lure people to play these games.

The game may not measure up to the high standard that Konami set for themselves this past decade, but it is at the very least a decent and playable game. Pout if you want, or just suck it up and appreciate it for what it is: a fun but flawed game.
Now I know you are retarded. Tell me, is PES 2010 as good as Fight Night Round 4? FIFA 09? FIFA '10? MLB 09: The Show? No it isn't. Those are the best sports game that have shat out by companies this gen. I'd much rather play Madden 10, with all it's faults, then PES. But I can't. Due to Konami giving this game more hype than Halo 3, I bought it. $65 that I could have used to buy FIFA '10 or GTA: Stories from Liberty City. You know, good games.

But instead I bought this. So what do I do? Waste about 50 hours creating Bundesliga and Championship teams to ATTEMPT to justify my purchase. 3 DLC's later and I'm sitting here, looking for all my created players so I can re-register them. That must mark the sign of a great game.

This game is damn awful. I love PES but this is a joke. The fact the AI doesnt want to score is a massive issue. But then you sit their and watch them play, their passes inexplicably hitting the back of their own players legs! Then these ghastly back heals and flicks they do to pass which simply don't happen, especially on the edge of their own area, where even a 5 year old could tell you to put your foot through it!

Bloody awful!

I know we should not have to edit anything ourselves in the game to make pes more realistic and enjoyable, and yes we all know konami are lazy twats, but by following some of the advice from fellow pes fans for changing stats and sliders in the game, well it's just an enormous improvement to pes 10.

It's amazing what a little tinkering about with the sliders can do to the gameplay. The AI attacks with abundance, you need to concentrate for the full 90 mins though or risk conceding a goal.

The goalkeepers have pulled of some amazing saves too, plus at times they have been awful.

Yh. The tinkering with teams settings mixed with natural player developmet after the 3 year mark has a massive effect on the gameplay. Teams are really attacking strongly and its like im playing a good human player at times
