So 777 people are saying how the national sides of South Korea and Holland are no longer licensed? Can you confirm this? Do the players still have preset faces on these squads? Thanks again in advance

I can confirm both South Korea and Holland are no longer licenced and their faces are fucked up too.

No more questions will be answered as I don't have the time so you'll just have to wait until friday to find out.

That sucks! I used to love playing as South Korea back in the ps2 days!

Thanks anyway.

From reading your thoughts and the IGN review, I'm very encouraged, and will buy it after choosing not to with 12.

Sad about South Korea. One of my favorite teams to play in between seasons. Takeshima / Dokdo beginning to have its affect.

I suppose, those teams only got their original player names, not the kits as well. Konami stated that there will be 17 licensed national teams (would be the same as PES 2012 without Holland and South Korea).

Have the 'Oranges' made a return by any chance now that the Dutch aren't licensed ? :joel:

I think the team name is still Holland, but yeah there are made up player names. Good news is most of the actual Dutch NT players are available in the game, so you can swap them.

Mid October?? Really??

It can't be that hard to get the squads updated for day 1, seriously.

Even so, there is an edit mode for a reason.

Gosh some people moan about the stupidest of things.

To be fair as easy as it is to do it yourself Konami should have it done in time for release!! They have 21 days from end of transfer market to release day to correct the squads!! Its just laziness on konamis part really along with these day 1 dlc's which should be in the game straight out of the packet

I agree with the Day one DLC thing, however moaning about transfers is a little pathetic and just goes to show how spoon fed these kids are now days when it comes to gaming.

I used to spend hours editing on the PSOne/PS2... We couldn't just simply demand a update to get all the correct teams and kits.

If you don't like it, deal with it and do it yourself if it is such a major problem for you.

Like Swanee says, it's lazy by Konami. They're essentially releasing an unfinished product. They know when the transfer window ends, and they know when the release date is. I can't see how it could possible take them over a month to update the transfers. EA manage to get a squad update out fairly soon, and I'm sure the chaps who make Football Manager are able to do the same.

but that's the point. If some 12 yr old can do it then why can't a million-dollar company get it right. Heck they could pay that 12yr old kid. Particularly disappointing if you are paying $50 for the game.

I can understand the transfers missing from the game out of the box, but that DLC transfer should be waiting for us the first day we boot the disc up online.
