Wooohoo, I got the game early thanks to a local game shop popping it out, but I have to download a system update first and its taking ages?? Does anyone know if this is due to the update on the evo game first??

I thought PS3 Update would come with PES 2009 everytime i got a new PS3 game it has.

Are updates optional ? (regarding PES 2009)

PS3, first I installed the playstation update, and now pro evo is telling me there is 'downloadable updates'

There was a PES update today. When i home i loaded up PES and it said there was an update. Not sure what it's for though because transfers haven't been completed or anything.

this is what happend to me when i got the game today
1- ps3 power up- new update for the ps3 to 1.50 or something
2- once done i put the pes09 disk in and it says i need to download a 25mb file update.
2- did that and game runs fine, 4- did the install part on the game 5- used the same login name and password for mgs online to play pro evo 09 online
