Unbelievable... they revamp the whole penalty system, and then they just don't give them.

I must add that there is no lacking of bad tackles and obvious fouls in general inside their penalty box.... the referees, though, are completely blind!

What p*sses me off the most is that they must have tested this game, so therefore logically they would have seen the absence of penalties, did Konami think mmm must fix that. no they released it just like they released that heap of sh*t in 2008.

I havent had a penalty either, now online players are learning to abuse that.

I have had a penalty!
in master league and ive only played a few games. havnt had alot of time to play! and I missed it because i have no idea how you akes them in this version.

I think I have had 1 penalty and have seen the computer get sent off about 5 times. Should have been 10x that at least.

I think it was not through lack of testing konami made the refs blind but a delibrate descision. I think they thought it would make the game better by having less freekicks and just a free for all, so there isnt as many stoppages.

I hope theres a patch on the way to fix it and it doesnt just make them randomly give more freekicks, or stopat just the referees.

Not such a bad thing though as the penalty taking system is posibly the biggest heap of turd that I've ever seen

I just received my first PK after about 4 ML seasons with Dynamo Kiyv. though i just stepped up to PROF level this season, and I was so scared i was gonna miss it i just tapped shoot and didnt touch the dpad. it sure seems like Sheve gets blasted in the box from behind WAY more now than on regular diff. Sometimes i just wanna flip out, i cant believe the blind ass ref cant see it. i dont get many scoring chances with Dynamo lol

They are not that hard to score them. You have to imagine you are behind the player when you take them. So thats how you direct it.
Press shoot for how much power you want, then as the player gets half way to the ball start directing it. If it goes wide you pressed direction to early if it goes to central you pressed to late.

Its not a bad system, you can have more control over where they go and get them right in the corners. Shame you just don't get any.

I agree that penalties have been a scarcity on the 2010 game in comparison to the 2009 one but I've accumulated 5 over a period of 110 games which isn't terribe. Once you receive your first one, they appear more often.

I still cant work out how do place the ball anyone other than way wide of the posts of straight down the middle.

I GOT ONE YESTERDAY and I made it!!! WHOHOO!!! was very exciting! I also got taken out from behind at the 90th minute of a 0-0 game in the box and didn't get it then eventually lost with a stupid goal in Extra Time ...
