What do you use to boot it up? A chip or swap magic? Cos theres lots of people here who are desperate to get it working with swap magic 3 (me included).

i hav a chip and a action replay disc

The ISO is 775mb and works with Swap Magic.

Zygalski - I tried the first Jonboyo patch. The RiP works fine but when patched it goes to the memory card screen. Sorry about the warez, I do own the game but my PC won't read DVD.

That is my point. If the ISO I have works with Swap Magic the rip kit version should also. It is possible to get over 800mb ISO onto a CD. I don't know how it works but it is possible.

You are right. It is a bin image. I remember I converted it to ISO and it failed to load up on PS2. Sorry for the wrong information, my fault. What about CD Loader to use with Swap Magic? Does this have any effect?

Hi, guys! Been a long time.. :) Had a go at jb's 30.10 patch with 17.11 update and followed the instructions. Never had problems patching before, the funny thing is I've encountered the same problems as Y2K, DaWu and Zygalski. Screen goes either black or jumps back to the browser after PS2 logo.

It seems as trueblue and maybe Zyg as well has found a solution, but you've obviously forgotten to inform the masses guys. Help needed and appreciated, as I've wasted enough cd's.

Oh, and Merry Christmas to you all. :)

Haha.. problem solved! I'd recommend burning with alcohol 120% instead of Nero. Worked on 1st attempt... :)

Its brilliant how you've left a cryptic post a few days ago and now you won't answer the most crucial question to some people here?
I need to know too.same problems as you.I've been using knife swap with no joy,so considering buying a no solder chip instead.need to know if this will work before i bother though

i've been trying to patch the orginal game but with no luck. I followed all of the instructions, but instead of burnning it on a CD, i upload it to the hdd, for some reason when i start the game, it loads the orignal game as if i didn't apply the patch, do you guys know the reason? thanks in advance

If you burn a clean image onto a CD you have a CD containing a clean image.
Patch the image however you want first and then it should work. But I've had problems burning certain patches onto CD. Some work and some don't. If you make your own changes, it may depend on what you change.
