Half-Life 2 - Best Game Ever?

The original thread (if there is one) is too old (or crap) so I'm making a newer (or better) Official one, dedicated to Half-Life 2

Just to let you know that HL2 is reviewed in Issue 148 - December of PCZONE magazine and .... drumroll ...... it got 97%
The review is 12 pages long so no I'm not scanning it, but this could be a game that finally lives up to all of the hype

What are HL2 minimum and recommended requirements??Why in a strange way i think my "Pentium4 2,4 Mhz, GForce4 MX 440, 256 DDRam" PC won't afford it?

I personally think metal gear soild 2 was but thats another STORRRRYYYYYY......but that half-life game looks great all the same.

Can't wait for the release, only taster I've had of it is Counter Strike: Source, which is basically Counter Strike on the Half Life 2 game engine (which I think is only available to Condition Zero owners) and about 15 minutes worth of game footage on CD which came with my copy of Condition Zero, looks awesome.
