I ordered my copy of PES3 from Play (www.play.com), I happened to check my order today to see how it was coming along, to my surprise, plesant of course, it is now in the 'packing' state which I believe to be the final stage before despatch. Does anybody know if this might mean I will get my hands thhe game a little earlier than expected?

Same here, I got Reloaded in the post from Play today. Didn't see the film at the cinema, will watch it tomorrow night. I've ordered PES3 from play.com, but it still has the status as 'pre-ordered'. Ah well, I'm sure mine will be sorted like everyone elses soon. Good good!wixon said:

There is some hope, jag. I remember a year ago, my brother ordered some A Level books off Amazon and the date for delivery was something like the 28th and he ended up getting it five days earlier. So, all is not lost, hopefully. Keep believing!

Play.com are generally good with service, and also with prices.
But I don't order from internet sites often, just in case there are problems with deliveries. I just tend to put my name down in a shop and then I know I'll have the game on the release date, or earlier (like with PES3).

I'm 90% sure you will get your PES3 before Friday (like mine) , because when I ordered my Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights 2 DVD it came 4 days before the release date, and items off play.com usually turn up either 1 or 2 working days after their posting date . GL Hope it turns up early for you.

i know this thread is about ordering from play but has anyone ordered from amazon?
i followed the link from the main pesinsight page to pre order pes3 and recieve it on the release day. I ordered on the 9th but it says in my order that expected delivery date is 20-21st, not the 17th. Should i cancel and order with play? I have been told by friends that things usually arrive before that expected date but I dont want to wait it out and end up being unable to cancel and buy elsewhere if it doesn't arrive on friday.

i order from play all the time and i think they're FANTASTIC!! cheap, reliable and usually u can get things a little bit earlier too as they guy above says!
although last year i didn't get Pro Evo 2 til the day after its release, but i expect 3 the 14th or 15th cos the sent it me on the 10th, i dont know if it makes a difference but i preordered mine on the 6th of JULY!!!!! so i would hope i get preference over someone odering last or this week!!
