I'm glad that we haven't got those silly balls in PES , I think they should get rid of the daft penguin suits and crap like that too.
The thing that has always made Pro Evo better than Fifa is that it is a Football Simulator not an arcade style football game like Fifa......

Fully agree.. don't understand why Konami added that crap to the game. I cannot imagine that they saw any specific requests for penguin and dinosaur suits from their PES fans?

yep it Reminds me of RedCard Soccer PS2... arcade funny game, but for serious footy you don't have to have this kinda crap!
If Konami just keep all their space open for other improvements in the edit mode like long trousers for goalkeepers (winterseason) or that you could "edit or transfer" the manager of every team. I mean that wouldn't be too hard to add in there. That would bring some extra realism to the game!!

I think it's the fact that they are in there but lots of good stuff isn't that pisses people off.
For example , they have removed the ability to choose tops, shorts and socks seperatley ..but....... you can dress up as a penguin !!
Yeah it's a fun addition I spose , but don't lose the good stuff and keep in crap like that.

The loss of the custom kit selection really dissapointed me. I totally agree with what your saying. Penguin Suits...Players riding on the back of dinosaurs.....It really isn't that fun nor relevant.
Rather than that crap i'd like to see a classic mode. Imagine a 50's/60's style match? No subs, lenient ref's, black and white picture. Some kind of little bonus mode that is actually relevant to football...Anything apart from penguin + dino suits...

The costumes hardly take up much game data. And you're wrong, PES may be a simulator but the game has ALWAYS been quite comical, such as the banners in the crowd..."Who ate all the pies?", "Run boys run!"..Alan Partridge material that. I for one love the humour in the game.
