Has the new patch (v0.2) has slowed down the gameplay speed?

Has the latest PES 2010 patch (v0.2) slowed down the gameplay? I play on PS3 by the way. I see that the gameplay is beautifully paced now. Is that because of the patch? Of course, Konami did not say that they have tweaked the pace which would mean they are admitting that they got it wrong first time.

I know that the stats have changed a bit but not to an extent that they would affect the overall gameplay. Probably, Konami have adjusted the speed internally - as in the 85 top speed of now is much more slower than the 85 top speed of before.

Does anyone feel this way?

Its funny you should say that but I decided to use the original edit file to make my own OF with Bundesliga teams and a few local rivals. It seems that the game plays a lot slower since the update, I've had some great games using 20 mins.

I'm still working on my OF but once its finished I'll think about tweaking a few of the attributes.

Ah! So you do see that the game play speed has slowed down since the update! Lovely. I was half way through my work on the next version of the realism patch. That's when I realised that the gameplay as per the new default stats is very nicely paced. I need to play some more matches to confirm this thoroughly.

I'm pretty certain now that it is slower since it was updated, I thought I was just imagining it at first so it's nice to know you might be noticing it too.

Is so then it really sucks.

Yes, I noticed that too. It runs slightly slower, but visible enough. Now, the pace is better.

I think it runs lot slower than before, especially for the top teams. Slower speed has also resulted in smoother animations and no jerky movements anymore. This has hugely saved my editing effort. Now I only need to edit values like tenacity, teamwork etc plus the tactical sliders and cards.

Hi bluechampion, when you did your first option file and you modified some of the teams so they would attack more in the game. (that was brilliant by the way) Is the one your working on now for all the rest of the teams please ?.

Yes mate. I'd anyway release my v2 of the realism gameplay option file. I'm half way through that. I've not won the last 4 four matches despite playing (TOP PLAYER difficulty) as Chelsea, Juventus, Real Madrid and Barcelona. Matches are getting tougher and tougher. Stars play like stars. They scare you. I'm liking what's come out so far. I'd release it sometime next week. Cheers!

What did you do mate to the teams to make the teams play better and did you do this for all the teams in the game?

Is this update available for the PS3 in North America? Just sent my letter to Santa asking for PES10 for christmas. :)
