Heading & Volleying in 2014

Hello all,

Its been a long long time since I have posted anything here, its great to be back. I'm sorry if this issues has already been discussed, but…

What is the trick for header or volleying crosses/corners in PES 2014? I almost always end up trapping the ball, even tho i have the shoot button down and the power bar raised.

I also notice it happens off deflections or some one time opportunities. I have managed to volley or one time a shot here and there, but seems rare.

Any tips or thoughts on this would be great.

Thanks!

Well, heading from crosses is my main weapon so far. This tip is prominently shown in loading screens, but I guess won't hurt if I can share it here again.

This is simple yet effective.

When your CF is about to receive a cross, press square as soon as the ball left the winger, then quickly press triangle to make sure the ball goes downward toward goal.

Make sure your CF has good header stat and most effective if your winger deliver his cross with his dominant foot.

My favorite CF so far is Giroud. Sure you can use Ronaldo but that's chicken, man :D

:) Thanks, I saw this tip on youtube as well... And I Middlesbrough supporter, so I'm using them since 7oy created a great OF with Championship teams.

My other main issue (other than the slow downs) is the switching... Konami really needed to fix the semi asst switching. Its been horrible for years. Make a great slide tackle or poke of the ball and it often switches you to a guy farther away from the ball instead of leaving you with the guy who won the ball.

Very annoying.
