Any tips on how to score more headers? Especially from corners. They usually seem to head it miles over. Also, is it true that if you press square then hold R2 they head it down.

I've never heard of holding R2 to head it down
But in terms of tips for corners, i'd say aim to the near post, and hold up when you cross it, it makes the cross a bit flatter, easier for flicked headers, rather than them looping over the bar.

and also press [] just before it comes to you and they shoot more accurate

I always tend to fill the bar about a third of the way up slowly and that sends it to the near post, from there i usually hold the --> button for the players to move forward and then its just a matter of hitting the button to header it in! don't score EVERY time though.
