Hi guys. First of all, apologies for the bad english. And allow me to introduce abit about myself first.
I was a Winning eleven fan back in the PS2 and PS1 era. Winning Eleven 4,5, ISS, Pro Evo 4,5,6, you name it, I've played all and loved all of 'em. I never played FIFA. The only FIFA game I played was 97 and 98 on PC.
When the new generation console came out, I bought PES 2009 straight away. It was my first ever game on my PS3. Throughout the years, I have never thought about FIFA, never followed whatever updates they have cause to me PES is like the best ever.
Until one day when I went to a friend's house and played FIFA 09.
'Damn' That was what I said after I played one game in FIFA 09. I didn't know FIFA was this good and felt more real. I decided to buy a copy of FIFA 09 and love it ever since. Then I tried switching back to PES 09 and the difference was... HUGE. Then FIFA 10 came and I thought it was the best footy game ever. PES 10 was bad, real bad. I have been playing FIFA games since 2009 and I am not going to say that I am a fanboy of any particular game because I just play the one I feel is the best.
Generally I feel PES has gone downwards ever since the release of the next gen consoles. PES 2008 all the way to 2010 was bad and not even close to the FIFA titles.
Now to my main point. I have just finish downloading both FIFA 11 and PES 11 demos. Played the FIFA 11 demo and even though its a demo, its really fun. Its really awesome and.. well you just have to play yourself to know what I mean. Then I try out PES 11 demo. Played one game. Quit at half time and here I am posting this.
What the hell are you doing KONAMI? You are the genius that created Winning Eleven and Solid Snake. What happened? I have always tried to be fair in that I always try out PES and FIFA titles every year and choose either one. Since PS3 was released, FIFA has been my choice so far. I mean the difference in PES 11 and FIFA 11 is really really huge. PES 11 gameplay, graphic is damn bad. It gets even worse after you have tried out the FIFA 11 demo. I have always hope PES would come back and snatch the title of being the soccer game king but, looks like you guys have a long way to go.
For those hardcore PES fans, just go and try the FIFA 11 demo. Try to be unbiased and choose for yourself. I am just concern about how terrible PES is getting. I am really lost for words because as FIFA is getting better and better, PES is getting worse. I really don't understand why people reviewing PES 11 demo are giving it good scores. Have you guys even try out FIFA 11 demo? I'm not trying to promote FIFA but sadly, PES is really going down the drain. I miss how Winning Eleven used to rule my past time when I was younger.
Please KONAMI. WORK HARDER and beat FIFA!
