dunno sure we will think of summit lol! lets hope we can import images into the 360!
I have no clue about dissecting files so apologies if anything I saw below is just dumb to people with intimate knowledge of such a process....
I tried to dissecting a webcam picture file the other night in the hope that I could rip the image out from around the other contents of these specially formatted Microsoft 'UNIFORM.BIN' files ("specially formatted" like pretty much all files are on the 360, stopping you doing anything useful with them).
I thought that if I could rip the image out, and it was a JPG etc that was merged inside the bin file, then I could do the opposite and replace the JPG area of the bin file with my own JPG (e.g. like an image being used by the PS3 guys). This would hopefully then fool the 360 into thinking this was an image taken by the Vision Camera so it would accept it.
I got very excited when I saw a PNG image in the file! I took it out and looked at it in an image viewer....... it turned out it was the little "PES 2008" icon it shows when you look at the "memory" option in the far right blade on the 360 dashboard!
I looked deeper in the file and saw another PNG image! Surely this was it this time! Nope, it was that flaming same "PES 2008" icon a second time for some reason.
That's me out of ideas already.
Does anyone know what image format these webcam pictures are held in? I've searched the internet but came up with nothing.
