Help me to beat Barca!!!!!

Hello guys!!!!

My best friend plays with Barca and i really find it too difficult for me to beat him......!!!!!

I tried to play with INTER, MILAN, CHELSEA but i lost all the games!!!

i need some advice for:

1. which is the best team to play against BARCA;;;;; (real madrid perhaps;;;)
2. how can i manage my defence against the 3 devils;;;;;; (ETO-RONNIE- MESSI!!!!!!)

Stop giggling at the back and here me out.

First off we need a formation. 4-4-2 will work. Edit your positions and drop the defence fairly deep. Push out a left winger quite far over and a bit high up. Put the two midfielders in the centre circle one above the line one below. Make the below a DMF and the above just CMF. Put the right winger two places above the line quite wide too. Push the forwards onto the corners of the 6 yard spot.

Now we need to fill the places. Martins and Owen are inexcusably on the bench so put these two up front, Martins Left side and Owen right. Duff on the left wing Solano or Emre on the right, which ever you fell like. Then in the CMF you can have either Emre or Solano or even PArker. DMF Parker or Butt. Defence and GK I just leave.

Now the pace of the Strikers gives you license to play balls over the top or down the channels. Duff can run and cross so use the left often. Try to keep it tight at the back and play balls towards the front men and you should get alot of joy.

I beat my Barca mate often using the Toon and this style of play.

attack is the best form of defence!!! i say play with man utd now with the recent signings and play hargraeves defensive midfield

That's a good formation, do you think it will work with a side like spurs?

RW: Lennon/Malbranque

I know that Berbatov isn't there, but the way you said it means you need 2 fast Strikers, not a classy holder up of the ball player like Berbatov.

So, do you think it'll work?

Yep could well work. As I say Owen and Martins can use pace for chasing down clever through balls or big balls into the channels. Lennon will be your key winger much like Duff is in my Toon set up. Is Murphy still with the Yids on number 6? If so I fancy his passing is better than Zokora so see if he can play those nice balls. Give it a shot my mate and see how you get on.

Okay, thanks for the tip about Murphy ;)
But, I might need a bit of a Hargreaves/Carrick type holding midfielder, and let Jenas do the work, but still I might use Murphy.

Murphy isn't great but the best options for the midfield are decent passing. That is the key for this to work. PAce on one of the flanks and 3 fairl decent long range clever passers.

Yes, with Defoe and Keane up front they do all the running, so you need midfield playmakers.

The majority of the time I play Pro, it's against one of my housemates, and the majority of the time we play, it's Man U against Barcelona, and the majority of the time, I win.

Smith in DMF, Scholes in AMF, Giggs and Ronaldo on the wings but with Ronaldo in a more advanced position, and Rooney upfront with Saha playing as a SS, but dropping of Saha by quite a bit, almost in an AMF position.

Try it out.

Just learn how to play! I have played PES6 for about a 2 years regulary and now I allways play at the top-player level and with a weaker team I can beat anybody MAX in 3 games depending of the weakness of the my comand. Just play and train!
