Hi all,
So it's that time where everybody is looking around for Option Files, and creators are working hard to prepare them. However, there is one website for Japanese Winning Eleven users that is taking advantage of naive users. This site is called 日本の超サッカー.(Japan's Chou Soccer)
I talked about this site a lot in my J League Exports thread last year, and will keep talking about them, because the admin of this website goes around stealing people's kits and option files and sells them as his own work. Of course, us heavy editors know that option files are in general free, but users that have little knowledge of editing fall for this sale, especially because light users will search "神データ" and this website is near the top of the search results.
To make matters worse, the files are sometimes broken, making the entire thing a scam, because the admin makes money off of files that don't even work. Also, he also is illegally selling music in the games where you can import music, which makes anybody who buys the files vulnerable to any charges relating to piracy.
The website is at it again, selling stolen files and kits.

They are going for 2000 Yen, or about $18 USD. A kind user linked me to a direct download of the stolen files, and I found work from many familiar names, including:
Caveras
4N63L
Angeltorero
PesUniverse editors
The reason I am going around posting about this website is because I am a victim of this thief. He stole my J League Exports and sold them to innocent users as his own work. When I asked him to stop selling my work, he claimed he 'replaced' all data, but later screenshots made it obvious he lied to me to get me off his back.
The stickied Stealing Credit thread ends with the sentence, "An editing community cannot work successfully if people are unhappy to upload their work for fear of it being misused or misrepresented. Do not engage in this behaviour." This is exactly what has happened with the Winning Eleven editors. Many editors have stopped sharing their work to avoid it being stolen and sold. I myself am really on the fence about uploading this year, since it will be stolen within a week and sold.
Please help expose Chou Soccer, to revitalize the Japanese editing community. You can email the admin at [email protected] if you want to complain about stolen work. I have additional methods to contact the admin, please PM me if you want details there. It may have little effect, but no change will happen unless we act.
