Me and a friend are aproaching the end of our 6th season with Liverpool in the Master League. Some of of the young prospects we bought at the start are now world class. But now a few of our players are starting to push on and we need to replace them, have anyone got any suggestions of decent buys at this point in time?
i know the back up keepers are fairly average, but we still rarely concede so im not worried about them.
the formation kind of looks like the barca one-more or less a standard 4-3-3
GK-Reina
CB-A Ferdinand
CB-Agger
RB-Vanden Borre
LB-Marcelo
DM-Van Der Vart (hit 30 and starting to decline)
CM-Lucas
AM-Matias Fernandez
RWF-Walcott
SS-Aguero
CF-Benzema
Subs:
GK-Itanje
GK-Martins
CB-Micah Richards
CB-Heitinga (has hit 30, needs to go)
RB-Arbeloa (was class but now 30 and on the slide)
LB-Bale
LB-Emiliano Insua (class youth player!)
WB-M Taylor (on the slide)
DM-Alonso (needs to go)
DM-Denilson
CM-Tom Huddlestone
CM-Joao Moutinho (pushing on and needs to go)
SS-Robinho (on the slide)
WF-El Zar (youth player turned out amazing!)
CF-Fernando Torres (amazing but starting to decline)
CF-Crouch (on the slide big time!)
Plus we made players in our own images and slotted them in the team! Very sad i know but hey. They're a CM in the mould of Gerrard (but definately not as good cause he's only 20) and a SS in the mould of Rooney (again only 20, not anywhere near as good)
So we re looking to shift Heitinga, Arbeloa, Matty Taylor, Alonso, Van Der Vart, Robinho, Crouch and get replacements (so thats a CB,RB,LB,DM,AM,WF,CF) although obviously prob not all at once. Most of them are rotation players as Huddlestone is ready to make the leap up to the first squad. We'd be prepared to use Torres in a makeweight cause its mainly El Zar, Aguero and Benzema who get all the goals these days. and myself Trouble is all the decent players are now ancient and we can't buy the old prospects as they're now amazing and their clubs wont sell. Suggestions please!!!!!!
