Here's a way to practise penalties

I dunno if anyone knows this but I think it's very useful for those who haven't grasped the new penalty system yet. Just load up training, then press start and choose training menu. Now choose free kick and just place the ball on penalty spot and shoot to your heart's desire.

It helped me master the system cuz the demo didn't allow me much chance to fully understand it. Now I'm hitting the bottom corners every time with Kaka.

To each their own. Old one was too basic for me and the areas you could hit was very limited. Loving the new one.

the only thing i don't like is how you can't see replays during training once the ball goes out of play. I practice free kicks and I can't see what I am doing wrong or what adjustments to make.

Ill give that a go - 10/10 for finding a way round a problem there. Konami should have put a practice option in (if there is one I cant find it).

i like the new penaltys becuase i practised in training but my only problem is getting penaltys in the bottom corner i can play it in the side i want but to power it in the bottom left or right is hard.

but can you practice saving penalites?

Nope, unless you have very willing friends to play a 5 min game to a draw. Once again, I wish konami would give us the PK feature in game mode as they did in pes 6...or whichever one it was.

Just before the ball goes out press pause then replay then watch and then judge what you need to improve, you don't see it the whole way but it will help you understand what you are doing wrong. Just a suggestion.:)

Thanks! I have been doing that as of late. It gets the job done. Too bad I can't see the replay of the ones that do curl in the top corner =D. Thanks for the suggestion mate.

No problem :). Your right, it is too bad when you curl one in the top corner and you don't get to see it :(.

Edit- Sorry I didn't say that about the goals before.

Me too. The camera angle should be like during shoot outs. - However i don't find penalties difficult thie year - having scored the 4 i've been given playing 2 seasons.
I think the free kicks are waaay harder to master this year..

another thing depending on what end your play at if im shooting to the right end of the pitch and you take penaltys up for right down for left. but if your playing from the left then penaltys are diffrent up is like down the middle and i tired to practise pens at the other end of the pitch in training but you cant thats a disavantage of that side angle for penaltys.
