Hi everbody !
Ive just bought PES 3 and I celebrated my first victory after 7 matches (1-0 against Saoudi arabia) . Goal by Nuno Gomes , my new hero . Can someone tell me how you make the goalkeeper move cause I was rather suprised to see my goalkeeper standing still on a corner that went directly in . :D

Hi and welcome Newbie :)

In the normal settings, hold down Triangle to make the keeper come out.
Othewise change the GK Cursor setting to ON and then you can control them manually by pressing Triangle + L1 (I think) and move him anywhere you want.

Put the settings so both teams play on the red form arrows.

Yes, the PES2 dribbling techniques are not so useful any more. Pass and move ;)

go to training mode, there are some good challenges there that will start you off.
also, everyone has there own teams that there comfortable using so change teams regulary and you will find your best team.
AC Milan are a good overall team, try them out first.

Red form arrows improve your players abilities, before starting a match on the setup screen it will say it there. The arrows go in order of form, arrow facing down means the players stats is going to decrese, the arrow facing diaginol down means his stats will decrease a little bit, ect.

Ok I saw the red arrows . Thanks for the advices. i think I found my team : Portugal . In the clubs its Paris st germain that I prefer. I play with 2 stars for the moment . I already loose nearly permanently in 2 stars

If you are keen to dribble (mind you, this is getting a bit off track here, but bear with us!) like in PES2, your best bet is to use R2 instead of R1 when you sprint, as this allows you to make really nice steps inside of defenders, and is very effective.

I tried R2 ands its a terrible efficiency . I play much better now and enjoyed 7-0 victory over italy using portugal .
