Somebody hinted at this a while back, but it seems to me a definite advantage to be the home side. I do quick match and during the setup the game decides who is going to be at home (sometimes flipping the players round). A few weeks back I got to around 600 on the ratings after winning about 8 on the trot, however it occured to me I had played them all as the home side and occasionally I could see the opponent struggling with what appeared to be button delay.
Ive lost quite a few since (nothing new) but mostly im away at the minute and sometimes it just seems the opponent is half a second ahead of me.
Im sure if your really good it doesnt matter, sadly im not, but again it is just another nail in the coffin of the level playing field (along with Real madrids new fanbase).
