Only player I could get in January was Gakpe, who has fantastic pace, but is only useful with a big CF to feed. Which leads me to...

Arnautovic! Inter wanted £4.6m for him (his value was £2.1) with only a year left AND him being transfer listed, so I threw back £3.5m and they accepted. Got him on a 5-year deal with a ~£400k salary, too. :^D

Can't get anyone else to sign, though my team ranking is about to get a big boost with the league nearly wrapped up and in the Europa League AND cup finals. It makes no sense why a direct rival would sell me such an expensive young player when relatively cheap soon-to-be free agents turn me down time and again.

Well, I did the treble, and only moved up 13 places in the team rankings. I need a .gif of that angry face players get when they're unhappy with their club. >:^(

Went from having 16m to 40m due to my successes, and have managed to sign exactly one new player in Summer, Di Gennaro as a free agent. It's the last day of the window, and around 50 attempts since the Winter window closed have failed, only two successful. Even the loanees I had, who were VERY happy at the club, turned me down consistently. I really need a better goalkeeper (my best is a young 66), but I can't even get a transfer-listed 70 to sign.

My team salary is only ~3.5m, so I'm spending the rest on staff upgrades. Wish I didn't have to wait till next Summer for the Youth Team upgrade to kick in. Also, Bolton has offered me over 18m for Gutierrez. I countered with 28m. We'll see how that goes.

Just had a highly successful and expensive January! Sold Samiroh, a 20-yr-old youth team CF (OR 59), for 500k, and brought in:

Jovetic, OR 76 - ~3m
Hamsik, OR 93 - ~11m
Guzan, OR 84 - ~3m

Released Jaric (66) due to his head being turned by other teams before the window, and Ximelez for just being too old and poor. Both contracts were up in the Summer and I needed to make room for potential pre-contracts.

As you can see, I particularly need to clear out some mediocre youth and improve in the fullback area. Also need to bring in one class CB, as Libermann does not want to play for me and should leave during the window. Nobody will sell defenders, though, so hopefully I'll get some genuinely good youth this year.

I expect either Foti or Gutierrez to be sold for great money come Summer, but with the addition of another dedicated quality CF (I have plenty of SSes, but only a couple real CFs), my attack will be set for a long time. Muniain is rejoining me permanently once the window opens (didn't especially need him, but he's 78 at 18 and on a free!), and Hulk wants to join, but his club won't let him go (he gets 'angry face" when they break the deal off). I almost had Gignac, but Spurs came in and stole him (which they also did to my Kompany deal), and Valencia screwed over my bid for Altidore, but Hulk is nearly out of contract, so I'm praying Sampdoria (his team) will cave.

i just start my ML,

and i'm using the original team of ML (like Castolo,Minanda,Ivarof etc.)
i use unknown team named Unirea whatever (i forgot )

and i play in EPL..this is my 2nd season and my 1st season on EPL..

at early November i just stuckt at middle table (7-10 rank up and down)

soo hard with me to sign young talented player (included the most cheap and unfamous one)

i use 4-4-2 formation with two smf and one DMF,AMF

Go to Advanced Search and select the "Loan List" parameter. You can loan just about anybody on the list fairly easily, as long as there isn't a lot of competition, and you'll have first shot at attempting to purchase them when their loan expires. Also in Advanced Search try setting the "Contract Years" parameter to "Min - 1 : Max - 1". It'll show you players with contracts expiring soon (who are always easiest/cheapest to buy), and some will inevitably put their renewals on hold, which is practically a "come and get me" plea.

Don't forget the "Free Agents" group, either. Go to Search by Group, scroll far right, select "Free Agents", then sort by Overall Rating, Descending Order. It'll show you the highest rated Free Agents first, so just scroll down the list and try to pick off a few of the good and/or promising ones before the other teams do.

I won league 2 and gained promotion with a decent bank balance but only managed to sign one player, a winger called Bauwman. No better than my usual right midfielder but beggars can't be choosers can they?

seem to be having money problems though. i have just won the champions league and still on -30 million. since purchasing aguero i have struggled with money. atm i have a few players i want to sell and am having problems getting offers

Almost had Ilucznica, but they tried to dick me around on the money and he wound up staying with them. Should get a good shot at him in January, though, as he's practically out of contract.

hahah..i just released my 3rd keeper named Zamenhouf or like that..and all of my team member have the yelow mad face and comment like "upset with the club threat their player" hahah LOL..

and will face Liverpool on the next match (rank2 on table)

now i'm on 4th rank on the EPL table, so hard for me to compete against EPL team with ML original team (pro difficulty)..
and near desperate to sign new SMF

You don't have much cash, nor do you have enough status to be a major attraction for really good players, so you have to dig for the talent, and loaning fringe and youth players from bigger clubs is a perfectly normal technique. It tends to make the players easier to buy when their loans end, too, as they will have developed affection for your club over the course of their time with you.

Yeah, I always find it a bit, I dunno, cheap starting ML without the Default players. However, since this year's game has some extra realism in terms of club popularity/prestige and financial status, it might be fun to try running a big club once I manage to get PES United to the top of the team rankings. Position 102 currently...

hehe..i dunno why,i feel more chalengging and prestigious if i can make the original team ML champions against real team EPL, even tough so difficult on PES2010's ML, usually at least i won the primary league on my first season, but now one of UEFA places is my main target LOL

well i started a new ML with Man U again. in the summer before the matches started i purchased giovinco (again, i did on my 1st) and landroam.

ten games in on the league and i have won all ten. Won the first two cup matches and 2 cl matches too.
i am playing my fringe players most games atm as i am looking to sell them. hopefully in jan i can sell berbatov, giggs, brown, de laet, o'shea, hargreaves and gibson
if i manage to sell them i will be in the market for most likely valbuena, abate, gourcuff, sergio ramos and might even try aguero.

just reached jan of my first season on my new ml. unbeatable in all competitions. only conceded 4 goals in all competitions.

on my first ml i went for him about 3 seasons in and it took me half a season of constant trying to get him.

on my current ml i have been trying since the jan and its april and still no luck. hopefully if i keep pestering i will get him. i have plenty of room in my squad after selling many players

so just keep trying. make sure you dont have a full squad and one thing i might try is just apply to negotiate with aguero alone to see if that helps. best tip is to constantly try until you get him. longer you leave it the more you will pay. ie on my first ml he cost me £105 million 3 seasons in
