Dispite numerous attempts to search for this i cant seem to put my finger on it. And i cant find anyone else asking the same question so im offically THICK and im officially doing something wrong,,,

How do i transfer option file to my PS3? a complete word by word numptys guide PLEASE i dont understand some words like 'copy to xmb' or whatever ive previously read. I dont understand this.

A thicko guide PLEASE.

I have the file. Ive extracted it. Ive made a folder called PS3 followed by another folder names DATASAVE followed by the option file but my PS3 cant locate it just says corrupted file.:fplm:

When i choose the mem stick when its in my ps3 i get the message THERE IS NO SAVED DATA.
ARGGGHHH this is incredibly hard and frustrating

and im a computer engineer

I have the same problem, 'There is no saved data' and when I hit Triangle, all I get is 'Information'

Can someone please help, this is making me tear my hair out!!!

Oh and I am trying to put the pes 2009 option file on here. Thanx to anyone who helps.

Ok so I have basically on my usb stick got the following folder paths created:

PS3\EXPORT\PSV

and in PSV I have copied the 'SAVEDATA' folder into.

Now I put the usb into the ps3, go to 'Saved Data Utility' correct?

you want step by step...

1. download the file you want and use win rar to extract it to any folder you want.
2. On your USB make a folder PS3 and in that folder make another folder called SAVEDATA in capitals.
3. take your extracted files and put them in the SAVEDATA folder..
NOTE!!- if the dowloaded folder already had a SAVEDATA folder in it then drag that file in to the PS3 folder.

4. Once you have PS3/SAVEDATA/(yourfiles)...... put the USB into the PS3
5. go to save data utility on your PS3 and copy all files off the memory stick one by one including the edit data file onto the PS3
6. go in the game and BAAAMMMMMM done!!

PS3/EXPORT/PSV Is for putting a PS2 version option file on to a PS3, For the PS3 version the Filepath is PS3 and inside that SAVEDATA, Inside which you put the files extracted from the option file you downloaded, (When you use WinRar to extract the files) Then save the PS3 folder to a USB device, Fire up the PS3 and insert the USB device and go to saved data utility, select the USB device and copy the information to the hard drive and Robert's you'r fathers brother (Bob's your uncle).

Thankyou, now the files are seen fine, I guess it was the path that was wrong, Steev09, the sticky on the forum for pes2008 clearly needs updating for us newbs out there, once again thanks.

Hey, im having some problems with this. Got the files on my USB stick but on the XMB when i go to copy them, it says corrupt data or such. Would that be a problem with the USB stick?
