the option was present in the 2009 as due to the 3 types of cursur controll now that you cant change the passing type it makes the game unplayable it now plays on rails

Another thing Konami stupidly took out of the game.
Being able to manually cross into the box was GREAT,why take it out of the game??

I always used type 5,it just gives you a full control of the game. Know the situations when you want to cross the ball into the box but the cross comes out way too powerful or not to the player you wanted to? That option gave you the ability to fully control your crosses. Damn it,now I'm even more pissed that its gone. Thanks alot konami

In pes2009 you could use manual pass on set-pieces by pushing the right analogue stick, in 2010 this isnt 'on' by default, is there a way to turn this 'on' or is this feature completly left out?

also with type 5 you could chip the keeper either from out side of the box + R2 or a deft chip over an advancing keeper, balls down the line etc etc etc. they have taken the skill element out of the game or at least reduced it for sure! plus manual pass having removed the r3 option makes more random for me, even though it is far from manual, you choose the direction but only suggest the power.
