How do you initiate the protect the ball animation?

I am talking about the one where your player will be position his body between the opponent and the ball from a standing position. I have seen it many times and I think it's really useful in many game contexts, but can't seem to be able to do it every time. I think Fifa have mapped the L2 button to it this year, just wondering what the PES version of it is. Thanks
