How far do you go?

In the past, I've played ML until I win the treble on top difficulty, maybe do it again the next season and then start soemthing else.

However, this time, I'm playing it longer - I'm interested to see what it's like when most people playing now are retired.. it makes it more challenging to find new talent and so on. Granted, it getsa bit boring, but you know.. challenges such as topping goals scored, least goals conceded, going the season unbeaten keep it vaguely fresh.

So - how long do you play it - and how far has anyone gone? I'm in 2012!!

This year I played to 2009, which was when I had won all the possible cups (division 1+2, uefa cup, champs lge, div 1+2 cups), then i get bored

I play for 3 or 4 seasons then start all over and try to make a team different from my last.

I dnt bother with master league, i just lyk competitions, cups and exibition matches

I find the Master League the only thing worth playing for single player. I've just stopped playing my Man Utd file, in 2010, now in 2007 with Bayern Munich.

I'm in 2016 at the moment, showing no signs of stopping. When players like Rooney and Messi start retiring I'll probably think about going outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Well, not sunshine. I live in Manchester so I'm not entirely sure what sunshine is.

Thanks for the replies, v. interesting. That's a nice name, "Adidas", very original. by the way, what does lyke mean? Mayge I'm stupid, or maybe you can't spell? It can't be a txtspk thing because it's the same length as "like", ergo it would be pointless to change the spelling unless it's a new "cool" thing. God knows.

I've done the winning everything seasons in a row.. I'm going on goals scored. Scored 104 conceded 18 in 2012. not so bad.

I blue myself
My record was 15 seasons on PES2. So easy to score that I couldn't help myself. On PES4 I got through 9 seasons. With PES5 i'll probably do 5, as I never get to play it, what with it being 130 miles away all the damn time.

I've done things differently this time. Went straight into ML at 3*, and have gradually moved upwards in difficulty. (Now 2010, 5*)

Annoying thing is, I'll have to start new ML if I want 6*, and I can't really be bothered.

I've never stayed as one team for long enough to win the wefa championship in any pes game, i'm very indecisive when picking a team, as you can imagine. I reached the final once and lost to Valencia... But next time i start a ML i won't quit and pick another team... hopefully.

I wish it was like Fifa 05's season mode, where you play the role of manager and you can switch teams without having to start a new season. It would help me greatly in terms of winning cups/championships and i think it would be good playing against an old team you built up, with a new team you currently manage.

Thats a wicked idea - Its such a ballache having to start again...Don't know how FIFA season mode works (as FIFA has always represented a large, smelly, but well packaged shit in my book so wouldn't touch it with anyone's bargepole), but it'd be immense if you could mix the Master League play-wise, with a management option, get yourself sacked, scouted by another team, flirt with national teams etc, with the game always continuing. Is this going to be the concept of the new PES Management game I wonder???

i'm currently in my 2012 season.. my motivations are looking at the current top players and recently retired players starting all over agn.. looking at them grow and playing them when they all younger makes the game more interesting... don't u wonder how Shearer will be like when he's at his peak? or even using a young 20 year old Ronaldo when he's extremely fast n powerful?? as seasons passes by... i will find my answers...
