How to keep back line/ Center Backs, FB`s in position.

Its seems a lot of the time one of my back four is out of position. They end up in attack sometimes, or my wingbacks end up in the center. How do you keep them in the same position. I have turned there arrows off and put there defensive levels all the way up.

Also sometimes my centerbacks will come all the way to midfield to win the ball. And then when it is not sucessful they are caught out of position.

Any help

im not sure about that but have a look around stratergy thing in formation and there could be a setting to set them to a defensive stay.
but if you want them to stay back fully, change their position to CWP (sweeper) or buy a CWP and the player in that position always stays back. so maybe even change them to 2 CWP. not sure if you can set 2 but try anyway

you can't have two cwp
if you want them to stay back set def line to c and change your fb's to cb's
but they may drift into to the centre if this happens place a arrow for them to stay out wide

Thanks a lot, I appreciate both of you guys help. I will try the arrow to the outside. But I like my fb to attack, ( I play with Milan) so I have there arrow pointed up the field. But i will point the arrow out and up and see what happens. Thanks again.

Also how do you make your team not pressure, and run around erracticly. If you watch a real match, most teams wont pressure like they do on this game.

high defence will cause this switch to some to normal
if you want your fb/cb to attack try the left/right side attack or a easier option is to play with a strategy plan a and switch to wb/fb when you need to

mate even one CWP will do, i read it on that pes2009 website thing, with the video help, it explained that CWP stays back all the time and lets the CB go ahead. no risk involved.
