does anyone know how to make a ppf file and what program to use. Also is there any way to change an afp patch to ppf format.

You cant explore a PPF file I thaught so.

Is there a way of patching a patch?

I have jonboyo's frankly superb 7.2.04, but I want to add some of my own advertising boardings. How do I do this?? Cant get my head round how to do it!

I don't want to start a whole patch from scratch as it just won't be as good as jonboyo's effort. Any help much appreciated.

(If I am being stupid I apologise).

Yeah you can, just extract data_e.afs from the .bin file with iso buster. and then use afs explorere and add your ad-boards etc.

Excellent. Now I have my edited DATA_E.AFS file with new Adboards etc etc.

How the bugger do I get it into a ppf format that I can patch?@!*

PPF-O-Matic only seems to be able to take a .ppf file and add it to an ISO/bin file. How do you create the .PPF file?

There does appear to be command line makeppf program but I cant get my head round what I need to type.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Just in case anyones interested I have realised my idiocy. You just insert the ASF back into the .bin file in WEmodcenter.

Although this doesnt help anyone trying to make a ppf file it has got my Ad boards sorted.

GFK already explained how to make a ppf file, just put the original image in that tool, then the edited one and the tool generates the difference between both versions as a ppf file
