I see much violence in sports such as Coakley (1994); Leonard II (1998); LeUnes & Nation (1996); McPherson & Curtis (1989); Pargman (1998); Wann (1997)...Especially in lots of soccer matches today, violence happens among players more frequently.It make me very confused and fearful when my children are taking part in playing football. How to reduce sport violence for children? Please help me?

Education. Children are more inclined to settle things with brawn rather than brains though, that's just the way it is. You can just hope that as they grow older they see that violence doesn't have any place.

thanks for your suggest. I also think so! But it seems to be difficult to educate them at their age. Hope that the more they grow up, the better they are!

Is there really that much 'violence' in sport that you should worry when your kids play football?

sure there's a good few rough tackles flying about and some arguments, but it's hardly as if players whip out their ak47's at the end of a match if they lose?

education doesn't really help actually. People need to be mentally prepared to control their emotion since violence can be done just in the heat of the moment..
