I have PS2 and XBOX with XBOX Live
I live in Canada so we8 isn't coming out until I think its January??? ahh I forget the date, but anyway, from the new IGN article they say the game looks more... lets say Polished on the PS2 version compared to the XBOX but I am sure its not a HUGE difference or anything so I am not really worried about that I guess... also they mentioned the controls, and ya I can see the XBOX controller not being good for the game having to use the WHITE and BLACK buttons for the other *R buttons like on the PS2 controller* you basically would have to take your right hand off the X,Y etc.. buttons to just push the WHITE or BLACK button... but I heard there is an adapter you can get for XBOX that you can hook your PS2 controller up to! I am going to for sure check that out next time I go to my local game store and see if they have it and how much it is. Ok so, I don't really care for online play that much, though I do go on xbox live every once in a while, and it would be pretty cool to play WE8 online... but its not really a big deal I guess... who knows maybe I will change my mind... so I don’t know if I should get the game for PS2 or XBOX... I mean I can get it for PS2 and be fine (plus the game is a bit sharper on the graphics end on the PS2 apparently) or get it for XBOX and get a Adapter so I can use my PS2 controller when playing which seems as of right now is going to have to be a must... and also ONLINE play for the XBOX. I wonder if there will be Downloadable Content for WE8 so then maybe there will be roster updates and have the teams and players and kits that are not licensed with crappy names (North London) and have them all fixed up... that would be amazing
anyway I am still enjoin playing WE7, such a good game, never gets boring. But I can't wait for WE8!!! I am going to get FIFA 2005 this year most likely to hold me over I am sure until WE8 drops here in Canada, and plus FIFA 2005 actually seems like it could be pretty decent this year... I hope so atleast
