I saw these patches on youtube for pes2008 and i must say it's pretty damn impressive how they did that. There is a video where they included English clubs containing everything, also what we see on t.v in the top left and top right screen. The clubs logo and "live".

I now understand why some people think the license are important. Cause it does indeed gives you that extra. But with these guy's out there making all these patches we shouldn't be worried about the license.

it does feel like the real thing. I understand you people now!

If you have a 360 ur practically screwed.

Licenses dont really matter, so long as they have La Liga

Really? i did not know that. So it works best for PC? Well i heared this person saying it is possible on ps3 but he didn't told me if online would work or not.

So patching is useless on the long wrong huh?

I don't think it would work on PS3, i've never seen it for PS3, only for PC and 360, and i'm pretty sure it won't work online.

^Yeah. The best patch for consoles is definately the patch for the 360. PC is just easy to mod it. I have never seen a patch for the ps3. Maybe there is but I don't think it's as good as the 360 patch.

I don't think you have to worry about that anymore -because- Konami have reportedly acquired the UEFA License -and- the EPL is part of the UEFA. So IF Konami have acquired the UEFA License -then- the EPL should be fully Licensed.

And again, I suppose the German Bundesliga will be included -as- the Bundesliga is part of the UEFA Confederation.

This (I think) gives an edge to Konami, an advantage Konami didn't had before. They will include the best European Leagues -and- they are likely to include the Champions League.

Some FIFA fans and casual gamers might buy PES instead of FIFA This year. However, this remains to be seen -as- most FIFA Fans are from the US -and- PES always reaches the US very late.. by that time most US fans end up buying the FIFA series.

I think Konami should give a little more attention to their US customers -because- those Late Arrivals are millions of sales LOST. And considering that here in Europe -PES- is The Football game (or at least was until PES08) to have..

Well, Konami should really start considering earlier releases to the States -and- NOW is the perfect time to do it as the UEFA License is guaranteed to lure many US (casual) gamers.

Yeah, that's absolutely true.. and that's my point, by that time most US customers buy the FIFA series -and- those are Millions of sales LOST for Konami.

I fail to understand WHY Konami keeps doing this, not only are they loosing millions of sales -but- they are also letting EA Sports (FIFA) have complete control of the US market. Most of the FIFA fanbase is based on US customers.

Why wait 6 months for PES?? Why wait, when I can buy the fully Licensed FIFA instead?? That's how MILLIONS of casual gamers think in the States.

There's no doubt in my mind, that if PES and FIFA where released at the same time in the US -many- US customers would choose PES instead of FIFA. Why?? Because it's something different, an Alternative to the same Old FIFA.

But anyways, I think Konami should release PES earlier in the US -because- with the UEFA License (Champions League in particular) they are guaranteed to lure many FIFA fans and casual gamers.

Not only that! Allot of people would probably download the version until it comes out in the US. That's why you gotta love Sony, region free. I understand you would pay more. But just a thought.

i totally agree on the releasing issue. Also many people read reviews. So if people in Europe say it's another crap game US would probably leave it and not pick it up. While it might have been a nice game for someone else.

that's why i don't understand why KONAMI is so silence about their game. By hyping it even people who have never played a footie will buy the game.

Although i am not a fan of hyping but it seems better against with FIFA. Lot's of people are stupid they buy stuff they see on t.v. it's the same way it works with games.
