I hope not cause the Demo i played at Leipzig was not even close to beeing good/finished.

Everyone is saying october 17. I would think a litle bit later.

How can a publishing company like Konami not have a release date this late in developing a game? It's kind of ridiculous.

A guy from Konami said they're aiming for October release. The video from Leipzig, I think, the one where he jokingly said the gameplay video was pre-recorded.

Here in Germany everybody is saying it will be released the 31th of october...but I think they're wrong! Probably the just thought to use the LAST day of october, to be on the safe side...I still believe it is the 17th.

most sources i've found have said its 30th October which is believable as the rest of the series has always usually been released on the last friday of october

Well, I'm seeing a whole host of different release dates on the Internet.

There are some retailers saying that the release date is 24th October 2008 on all formats while other retailers are saying that the release date is 17th October 2008 on all formats.

I've even seen another retailer list different dates depending on the format. I've seen the 17th as the PS3/Xbox 360 version release date, the 24th as the PSP version release date and the 30th as the PS2 version release date.

So very confusing at the moment. I suppose we'll know more about release dates for all the formats as we get closer to October.
