Hey guys, wow, ML Looks great!! Listen Im having difficulty finding the perfect team! i need good suggestions with a team with a REAL Kit, btw when you start ML and ther is like 3 weeks of transfers isit even possible to buy someone lol i never get one. e.g. i wanted danny from senit st. petersburg.

Try Aberdeen.
You hardly ever get anyone in the first transfer window.
Give it a few seasons and when you get into europe.

By the way once the transfer window closes that doesnt mean they stop you can still look for a player and the scout will try and sign him and if they do the player will join in the next time the window opens. Ive brought ashely young this way.

I loaned Kamara from fulham in the first window, good bit of buisness as well he won golden boot scoring 20 plus and helped get me promoted finishin 2nd in first season.

As dan says, you can make a bid for players during the entire season and then the scout will tie up the negotiation letting you know if they said yes or no. If they says yes, it's just accepting and then the player will join your team as soon as the transfer window opens. It's a mistake to only make bids when the transfer window is open (it takes way too long time receiving an answer)
As to your question regarding a small team: I'm being one at the moment. FC Copenhagen. You'll see that they do have players with great potential - the rest you have to shop for Try loan transfers and unknown/young players for the first season, since it's difficult to attract big players.

Although it only lasted Briefly I started with Hertha Berlin (I have other leagues B licensed). Well it ended because.......( They couldn't win even if there was nobody on the other team)

i've always liked being a small team in ML, makes it more interesting. i mean, i've always liked the battle against relegation

im using an option file with serie b teams/kits/faces so im playing as US triestena (they are so terrible to start with lol) but its pretty fun and a nearly impossible challenge to win games against big teams like inter and such.

quite a bit of fun though ^^;

i use wolves.. all small stuff player except for Ebankes Blake. fun playing with them though. now i am getting some top players for dirt cheap (Robbie Keane). those purchases actually show how the team is improving. had to send out a lot of the squad to make some profit though.

i always take the smallest team in the league... then only, a win feels like a win...
