Ideas For PES 2012

Hi,

I'm from the UK and I have been playing PES since it started on the PS2 to right now on the Xbox 360. The best aspect about PES has been the recent addition of the Champions League whilst the aspect I'm not keen on is the majority of things unlicensed.

Anyway, this is nine things what I think should be considered for PES 2012

1) MORE LICENSED TEAMS FROM EUROPE
Cutting back massively on the other European teams section on PES 2011 given the huge amount on 2010 was a bitter diasspointment. I would like to see much more licensed European teams for PES 2012 such as including new club countries like Austria (RB Salzburg, Rapid Vienna), Israel (Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Tel-Aviv), possibly Bulgaria (Levski Sofia) or even maybe Belarus (BATE Borisov, they're good nowadays) and include new clubs for existing countries (e.g. Young Boys, FC Zurich, Trabzonspor, Steaua Bucharest)

2) IMPROVING LEAGUES
Having the Eredivisie and LFP licensed is a big coup and the majority of La Liga and Serie A too. But the Premier League in England is too poor with only Man Utd and Spurs fully licensed. I think it should also have at least Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City fully licensed for this league. Also, I was pleased with the return of Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen on 2011 but I think it should build on reintroducing a Bundesliga division (doesn't matter if its not licensed) but it should contain at least Bayern, Werder, Schalke, Stuttgart and also possibly Bayer Leverkusen licensed. If not, then it would be nice to see a few more German teams in the Other European Teams section.

3) EXPAND USE OF EUROPA LEAGUE
The UEFA Europa League has become a standard part now of PES but I think it should now be avaliable to play as a standalone tournament away from Master League. It will allow the player to mix and match line up and the way it can be achieved is when selecting the teams to use, a section on the screen will allow player to decide which 8 teams should join in from the Round of 32 stage.

OR...

4) EDIT CL & EL LINEUPS
If not the above then why not allow the player to edit the lineup of teams to play in the Champions League and Europa League for their first season of Master League. The way it works is by for the CL, choosing the 27 teams to go into the group stage and the 10 to contest the play-off round and for the EL, select the 43 to contest the group stage, the 5 losing CL play-offs teams also going in.

5) REAL DATES
It's good to have a sort of idea when matches play in Master League but maybe its now time to use real dates for fixtures, instead of having August 2011 Week 3 1st Half, have 13th August 2011 instead.

6) STADIUMS
Maybe increase the lineup of licensed stadiums on the game. Simple.

7) ADBOARD SELECTOR
Whilst it was nice to create stadiums, it was not good to not allow Xbox players to import adboards. So perhaps for PES 2012 Stadium Creator, include a feature called Adboard Selector and the player can choose what companies can sponsor the boards on the stands (e.g. Lucozade, Umbro, Panasonic, Pepsi) along with the usual Konami LED boards on the pitch.

8) FATIGUE AND FORM
This would work great in Master League. Players can tire out quicker in certain conditions and when playing away from home in League games, make it bit more challenging for them.

9) MORE INJURIES
OK, this may seem harsh but the Injuries system doesn't really work. Players who get strecthered off the pitch are usually back on in no time whilst those who are limping are taken off. Maybe this should be reversed round and players who are strecthered off are taken off.

Of course, I wouldn't expect all of it to be included but I hope this will give Konami a bit of thought of what should be featured in PES 2012.

What about 3D?
Imagine we're playing real football in the house. So the camera is in the eyes of the players (especially Become A Legend)
I hope PES 2012 is so

But, what about the view of the foot and the ball? Hm, maybe eyesight players can look forward and down :w00t. Support by 3D Glasses :laugh: . Waw! :w00t

3D should be a selectable option. remember that when 3D is implented, the resolution drops and it could look like a ps2 game. Now, footballgames and games in general are all about gameplay, but really, who wouldn't like to be eye pleased ?

I'd like to see a better, expanded stadium editor (which only seems like a logical step since this year's was kind of like a try out) and more things done to the atmosphere in stadiums. More tifosi at the beginning of the matches as in PES6(?) !

We should know up front that it's hard to buy those licenses we'd all love to see, since Konami have to share with EA. Just keep the Eredivisie More unlicensed/fake leagues could do the trick and with that more/unlimited emblem saves!

Hm, I do not know about it
But I think PES 2012 should go get up with some hardware that has been raised 3D facilities. Maybe it could be divided into 2 (PES 2012 and PES 2012 3D).

I forgot to mention that the game needs NEW match entrances. I would like to see a more complete stadium entrance ceremony like in the old ISS Pro 2 days.

If you dont know what I mean just take a look at World Cup match and especially at the whole building up the atmosphere stuff thats going on BEFORE the match begin.

Also an Anthem moment that is longer and offcourse that you can skip if you like.

Forget 3D... if Konami were to start on that I expect they'll forget about all these smaller, more important improvements.

Would really like to see some sensible corner positioning. Its crazy that some of my players who are great at heading are outside the box, or like Gerrard is in defence covering for the defenders who went up... he's supposed to be on the edge of the box waiting for those rebounds!
And its silly how the attacking goalkeeper is always perfectly positioned right in that small gap in front of the opponent goalkeeper when its a last minute corner. Try it out, go all out attack (select/back + r1/rb) and earn a late corner kick. Your gk will be in the best spot, but when you have someone like Crouch or Luis Fabiano they will never get into that sweet spot. FIX THIS!!!

7. FULL EUROPA LEAGUE + SUPER CUP & CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ON MAIN MENU OR UNDER SUB MENU

8. ALOT MORE VARIATIONS FOR EDIT MODE (EMBLEMS & SPONSORS) AS CURRENT SHAPES & FONTS TO CREATE IMAGES ARE POOR

9. LICENCED LOGOS FOR KITS WHEN EDITING (JUST LIKE THE LICENCED BOOTS)

10. CHANGE "MASTER LEAGUE" TO "MY CLUB" (KEEP ALL THE SAME ACCEPT YOU CAN CREATE YOUR TEAM FROM SCRATCH INCLUDING THE KIT, EMBLEM AND SPONSORS, ALSO CREATING THE STADIUM AND CREATING THE MANAGER/COACH WITH A NAME, SO AS YOU EARN MONEY YOU CAN IMPROVE YOUR STADIUM & ATMOSPHERE RAISES WITH MORE FANS BEING THERE)

11. MORE ACHIEVEMENTS/TROPHIES FOR SMALLER THINGS LIKE GOALS, WINNING ON HARDER DIFFICULTYS, SKILLS, ALL LEAGUES, WINNING EUROPA LEAGUE & SUPER CUP.

I understand most of the licenses will be hard to get but how about focusing on the things that dont invole them.

forget more leagues!!! fix the play of the game.

#1:fix the movement of players, it seems labored when you are moving. especially when engaging an opponent. The A.I sometimes don't recognize the ball just because they are not selected, or if they are on a run, they won't break it off. Or they don't keep their run when you are attacking, they break it off too early.

#2: give players the ability to handle lob passes better, they seem to not be able to take advantage of those opportunities. ( they cant even get a good shot off when the ball is dropping)

#3: fix the referee ( the calls are ridiculous )

#4: stop the A.I from slide tackling in the box (have them clear the ball automatically, within a yard or two off the goal line instead)

#5: allow the player to hit one time shots(offense) , or clear the ball (defense) one time. if we want to control the ball, we wont press square to shoot or clear.

#6: bring back the old P.K system.......no one complained, so why change it.

#7: fix how players engage each other. from jostling to tackling to keeping possession of the ball.

#8: The motion of shooting needs some work, i'm not sure what. it just doesn't seem convincing

#9: When players are running, they have momentum. If i run full tilt and stop with the ball, the A.I stops on a dime right beside me. That's unrealistic, how are you supposed to get separation

#10: Ball physics needs adjusting

#11: Cursor switching speed needs to be adjustable

#12: Change the name back to Winning Eleven...............The good old days!


There you have it, 12 things to fix for Winning Eleven 2012. Do those things before changing anything that we did not ask to be changed, or changing the menus which have nothing to do with football or even new nets i can live without. These are the requests of your true blue faithful Konami, everyone else is trying to distract you from the task of making the beautiful game.

Ideas & suggestions for PES 2012

Please Konami, bring back the option to watch all the results of the games when playing in the community mode, bring back the option to watch the statistics of how many yellow &red cards each team has.
And please let the replays be complete to watch the whole movement of the ball, until it stops moving.
I hope konami taks into account my suggestions.

Another good idea would be to bring back the option of watching all the halftime scores, I think it was in PES 2008 where you could do that. That was a cool thing to do, because while you were at HT you could watch other halftime scores or even one or twoo final scores, for me that was a great option and made it feel more real. Please KONAMI take into account the suggestions

- aggregate on home and away matches
New system for penaltys
New engine for fouls n tackles I.g. how bad the tackle was, what type of injury it is
Interactive training methods to build your player - (become a legend)
More new features on become a legend I.g - build friendship or dislikes with players in your team or an award for player of the month
Master legend - manager of the month
Man of the match features I.g. awarded the football for hat trick
When subed out and winning team features you when you was captain
make a system that records a best goal of the game through out all the games played and play it on the home screen.
Players that you befriended in national team or other team will try to get you sign for the team.
On the transfer mode for add loan mode as well with the actual dates so he will return end of the season of mid season or if manager need him.
Pro news on become a legend - please add more critical news like injurys (broken or dislocated bones) or goal of the month or season, transfer news - friend offered contract or signed.

This thread really shows the ignorance of the pes community, shut up about adboards, half time scores and more injuries.!!??, all of these points and 90% of the points mentioned are irrelevant and pointless if the pile of shit gameplay (cursor switching, and retarded players..) isn't fixed. Only two people on this thread have mentioned gameplay. All the other ideas suggested were little tweaks that don't even matter, okay yes they would be nice, but i the main priority for this game to actually improve is to fix the gameplay, and from what i've heard from e3 and other sources, it is looking very promising.
