After a long time of thinking and web browsing i have decided to buy an xbox 360 over a PS3, Sony have really annoyed me sinced they announced the ps3 saying it will be expensive and pushing back the release date to november, the 360 looks a much better prospect in my eyes with its online serviceand good software backing, whatt do you think of my desicion, please leave feedback :)

But i would say the pro's outdo the cons when buying a 360, however you should wait till ps3 is out then compare them both.

But if you want to do that you will be waiting for like 6 months. I love my 360. I had both the first XBox and the PS2 so I wasn't really partial to either company. Get the 360, you won't be dissapointed.

Yea I have a 360 and its a great console and is great online. The PS3 will also be great no doubt but the 360 is worth it more as its available now.

Yes Dan it is King Egg, I have Farcry which is cool, Oblivion, and Pro Evo 5 which is my most played and I have owned most of the other titles but keep exchanging them as my mate works in Gamestation.

I have one you can buy if you like. Virtually brand new, still boxed, two 360 games, one xbox game, extra wireless controller and two plug and play kits for £350. Would cost about £450 in the shops.

I'll add you later, but i don't have any of them games :mellow: i will be getting Oblivion later today but thats not live enabled.
I'm trading in my PS2 next week though so i'll be buying far cry and football manager.

I'm waiting until the prices come down, and some good games come out, all that interests me about the 360 at the minute is PGR3.

I'll also be going for a 360, but I'll wait a while till the first pricedrop (should be within a couple of months, or in october/november at the very latest)
It's cheaper then a PS3, and will have lots of games for it. Playstation doesnt have many 'exclusive' series I'm interested in.
Also, I have the 1st Xbox and am still very very satisfied with it, so I think a 360 would be the most logical and best follow-up.

I only hope this whole paying for downloadable content will mean companies will release games, and then bring out countless extra stuff that you will have to download for a couple of bucks each time.
