Im so happy Egypt finally gets some love

This is the football game that i have played where Egypt is a team i can choose. The only other game was World Cup 2006, for xbox 360 but it was very bad game. Now finally Egypt is in this game, and i cant get enough of it. I never understood why they would put national teams in this game that havent done much in their history but a country like Egypt that has hosted and won the African Cup of Nations more than any other country was left out.

Speaking of teams that are left out why isnt my Egyptian club Al-Ahly still not in any of these games. I mean Ahly is by far the best african/arab team in the world, and they just locked up their 7th Champions league victory earlier.

Just thought id share my thoughts....

i agree with you there, i want KONAMI to start adding more teams instead of replacing them, i want to see more national teams and more south american club teams as well

Oh, let me tell you guys... the first time I played the Qualifiers of the african cup in this game I chose Egypt, at the highest difficulty level. I struggled through the qualifiers, but I made it to the actual tournament and won the cup on the first try. I must say Egypt are a good team this time.

They should have included more african teams, at least four more to play against in the qualifiers, just like the asian qualifiers

I jumped a hole in the air the first time I saw Egypt was actually in the game again ever since they were left out since pes 3 lol... I think it's a real shame if u look at the overall number of teams playable in the game...I mean ain't nothin hard about implementing more national teams so u can finally play a descent African cup with 16 sides..also a lot more clubs and competitions would have been nice and always this lame setup of the master league, konami really needs to change this. More leagues (at least 6 so u can put EPL in "League A", Ligue1 in "league B" Serie A "league C", Eredivisie "league D", La Liga "league E" and Other teams in "league F")

It's about time Konami jumped on the African Nations bandwagon, it's a huge tournament now, one I never fail to miss and as said at least 16 would be a massive plus.

I just think Konami are failing to see where the game can excel, they know they don't have half the licensing that FIFA has so why push for more, just make the edit options so expansive anything is possible.
I mean adding space for say 3 more leagues that can then be edited into the current league set-ups, even the kit editing - although better than before - needs far more work. I'd like to see an editor that just gives us a flat mesh of the entire kit, sleeves, collar etc so we can edit each component of every (non-licensed) kit; there's always people who will do the editing.

yeah they should let us create natonal teams if they wont be adding anymore i think, why keep replacing teams like jamaica, t&t, togo when they can just add them to the list, and also its a good way to bring more players to the game when they see that PES has their country as an option to play, i know fifa doesnt have as many national teams as PES.

Agreed, South American footy is awesome, would love to see the likes of LDUQuito Corrinthians and Palmeiras in the game, a full League would be awesome, maybee even the Copa Libertadores to go with the CL.

I was just happy to see my home nation (UAE, REPRESENT!) in this one.

There's no excuse for not having more teams rather than just replacing them around, we live in the age of DVDs/BluRays, there's tons of content that can be stuffed in there. If I would ask for anything for PES2010 it would be more teams, forget the graphics, I am happy with them!

I also want to see Al-Ahly in the game, as long as "The magician" coach Manuel José gets shown in every game:

I heard he's a real star in Egipt, people love him there for winning 4 or 5 African Champions Cups for Ah-Ahly. I guess he does look rather Egiptian himself!
Too bad that here in Portugal people regard him as a simple guy that speaks whatever comes to his mind and that doesn't know what he's saying but actually he is far better than Carlos Queiróz or other "fancy coaches" we have here.
