Import Team - Squad Data Messed Up

Right, so I have a situation.

I basically import teams and leagues from different sources, other than a main one I used for most teams, I forgot which one that was.

It went all right for a while. Got the Prem, Bundesliga, J1 League, but now I find myself in a pickle. Like for example, I imported Celtic, but after I do that and apply squad data, half the squad of Bayer Leverkusen is gone. And vice versa. So they're basing it on the same fake team as source, I guess, but is there no way around that? It seems to do that with a lot of teams now and it went from close to perfect for my needs to an absolute shithole of a mess in a hurry.

So what can I do? I've Googled, found nothing and now I've basically logged into a forum I haven't been on for maybe 4-6 years for help.

Anyone who knows a solution or can tell me what I'm doing wrong, would be greatly appreciated.

There is a workaround. For that, you'll need a second user on your playstation (I assume you're on PS4, I have no idea of how it works for PC).

Go on your second account, import the team with the players there and then base copy all the players from the original team over the players of another fake team you have free on your main user, then apply kits, logo, formation, etc.

Then, export this team you made and import it on your main user.

Ehhh... Well, that didn't work. I basically have no free team left at this point on my main and even if I did, I would run out eventually before getting every team in that I wanted.


It might work if I base-copy all the players into created players. I might do that later. Kind of too bummed out to test it now.

But if you don't have any more free slots, where do you want to put the team? There are only 20 teams on PEU League, plus 5 slots on "Other European". Bundesliga has 18 teams, and 3 are already in game, so you'll use 15 slots for Bundesliga. So, you can choose up to 10 teams to fill the "Other European Section". You need to choose, since you can't have them all. For example, you can grab the missing UCL teams (Celtic, Maribor, Qarabag, APOEL) and then grab some others from Europa League, or just add some teams you would like to play with. It's up to you.

It is a bit time consuming, but when you get into the swing, it can be done quite quickly.


Step 1)
In your SECONDARY PS4 Account, load up PES 2018 and go to the National Team of Morocco or Nigeria and swap the fake players for the real players within the game.
The fake players will drop into the Free Agents section.

Step 2)
Import the team you have just downloaded.
Go to the Free Agents section and basecopy the players from that team over the top of the fake players from the National Team (from step 1).

Step 3) Transfer all of the basecopied players (from step 2) to another team (fake team preferably)

Step 4) Go to the Transfer Player section and swap each player (like for like) between the two teams (so effectively, the basecopied players are now in the team you originally downloaded).

Step 5) EXPORT TEAM

Step 6) Load into your Primary PS4 Account, load up PES 2018 and import the team (from step 5). The team shouldn't interfere with any of the other club teams.
