Impossible to dribble

It is impossible to dribble in FIFA 10. You just can't beat a man one on one. This severely limits the way you can play the game. You can only pass, pass and pass. That's it. This is something they should look at improving cos the rest of the game is good, it's just that it can be boring just passing all the time and doing throughballs.

Guys like Messi should be able to dribble past players but they can't.

It's the same using another fast player like Agbonlahor as using Messi. Even though Messi has more skill, you just can't use it.

In Pro Evo the dribble accuracy is an important stat in FIFA it is useless.

When you say dribble past a player, do you mean by using the skilled dribbling or the skill moves, using the analog stick?

I don't find it impossible, timing is important when you're trying to take on a player, eg. when you flick the right analog or when you start to sprint / slow down.. all stuff like that..

Hope that helped.

Its not impossible to dribble in FIFA 10. You just have to have the correct timing. I sometimes use a few step overs, drags, etc to get past defenders. FIFA 10, in my opinion, is the better football game this year.

You can really tell the difference between the world class players and the good players.

I use2 have the same problem at first (this is my first year playing FIFA) but like what every says Timing is one of the most important things in taking on Def. try using a zoomed camera at first to get the hang of it>>>

I'm not talking about the skill dribble. More the Messi style dribbling of weaving in and out using the left control stick. I don't think it's possible to dribble this way or is it?

If im not mistaken, you have to use the skill button and the right analouge stick.

With the right players dribbling is fine. Dribbling has always been to easy on football games and this has been sorted in fifa 10
