Improving players?

Ok so after every match in the Master League on PES4 I get the stats up of which players have improved and so on but I have a problem.

The players highlighted in yellow are the only players that improve and everytime it is the same positions no matter who plays in them and the others never improve.

My goalkeeper is never yellow but all of my defence is, one of my midfielders is yelllow and one striker is....

because it's always the same positions and not always the same players Im wondering if there is an option to set which positions you want to improve in the match and if there is how I change the positions so I can improve the players I would like to.

Can anyone help me out with this?

Improving Players

I think it has something to do with the age of the players.. ive found that the younger the player the more the improvement. If you notice the older players stats actually decrease, and the 27 - 30 year olds stay the same. I may be wrong but thats my guess.

Yeah i thought that too but like I said the same positions always improve no matter who plays there... like I put an older striker in the striker position that keeps improving and he improved a little... not alot but still a little whilst the younger striker didnt seem to change at all

Seems to work OK for me. In my Newcastle squad, James Milner greatly improves each game along with small improvements for all the 25-and-unders.

The older players can deteriate with age too.

hmm ok. Maybe I just have alot of old players and the older player improving was a glitch...

Oh, one thing. When you go onto the "experience page" (straight after the match where some players are highlighted in yellow) make sure you go right down to the bottom of the squad list. I think that the players always appear in the same order so some of the players that played may be nearer the bottom.

I have had the Jap version for about 3 months lads, I found that the players got better the more they are used?!! So the more a player see's of the ball, and is used in your play ! the better they get.
