I only play BAl, but..

I have never gotten injured over 12 seasons, only been carried off the field twice for medical attention.

I have actually managed to get some players injured after constantly harassing them with tackles. So it's possible, assuming you WANT to injure someone.

We play at a league with 40 teams and last season we had 8 injuries. Only one of them was a serious one.

I've been injured four times in three seasons on my current BAL.
All of them was for three weeks, i did not create my player to be injury prone, i just dribble and get tackled a lot.
